Front desk staff were excellent on check in, very friendly and accomodating. Bar, resteraunt and Starbucks on premises were very friendly. Small issue with the drain in the room adressed by staff in a tinely manner. The hotel is around 1 mile from Heathrow making in conveinant to get to for flights. However, the prices for transport from the hotel to Heathrow are extremely expensive even for London prices. A one way black cab will cost you over 30 pounds for a one mile ride. We were originally told at the cab stand that it would cost 55 pounds. We refused and were given a rate of 30 pounds. Other options are available but this was the mid range option. Rooms are very well soundproofed and we could not hear a single plane overhead even though they are fairly close at times. If the very high cost of transport to Heathrow were addressed, this would be a solid five star rating.

The hotel was advertised as having spa facilities including a sauna. The sauna and the showers on the pool were out of action but this was not noted on the website or mentioned at check in. I would not have booked the hotel had I been aware. The room was advertised as having robes and slippers but they didn’t have either.
This is how I found out the sauna wasn’t working
There was at least a sign but you had to go into the changing rooms to use the shower which was a distance away
