Loved this old fashioned beauty

What a unique and beautiful place to stay. I loved every detail of this beautiful old fashioned hotel. The way the original structure of the train station has been preserved is awesome. The food at Trax was very good and service was also. Beds were comfortable and breakfast this morning was very reasonably price and Shannon our waitress could not have been nicer. Will definitely stay here again!

Ever had a bath R with no place to hang towels?

Food and beds were comfortable. However, the room was so overcrowded with beds that it was difficult to get to one side of one of the beds without breaking/skinning a leg.

The hotel was in a good location for work purposes but my overall visit could have been a lot better. First, the room had somewhat of a balcony that inside the hotel, which oddly is where the swimming pool is located and had young people screaming and being loud until 1am. Also, my shower drain was extremely clogged causing the bath tub to fill up with water while running the shower, along with black steam marks along the tub floor. Overall my visit was very bad sadly.

Internet strong but not secure. Only restaurant Traxs is so so. Since the hotel was an old train station it is huge . Lobby enormous and dark . Room is very clean.

From the second we stepped in we were greeted by welcoming and friendly staff. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The shower was a bit old but this is not an issue. There are a few restaurants inside the hotel which is very convenient. Overall it was an incredible stay and I would come back if I find myself in Scranton again.

Absolutely beautiful hotel at a reasonable price!

I chose this hotel because the pictures on Hotels.com looked really nice, the location is right downtown, and the price was very reasonable. I was extremely impressed. It is a beautiful place! The lobby is outstanding! My room was great. The food at both restaurants was excellent. The staff is really nice. Parking was $5 per day. Very reasonable. I will definitely stay here again the next time I travel to Scranton. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this place was! Highly recommend!!
