We loved our trip to Solvang and the hotel was lovely. I may have missed this on the website but there is only two levels and no elevator. So just a heads up if you need to request the first floor. We had no problems with the stairs and we packed fairly light so upstairs was good. On the map, I thought we were farther from the festive stores and town activities but I was pleasantly surprised to find out how close it was. Very walkable. The only drawbacks are the walls are pretty thin and since the hallways are outside the people talking outside the door felt like they were in the room. However that only happened a few times and I don’t remember hearing anyone after 11pm. Also the bathroom door is a sliding door which didn’t provide much sound protection but those were small inconveniences that did not take away from how much we enjoyed the trip. We would definitely stay there again

We enjoyed our stay. Location was excellent and the plus was the available parking spot. Staff are friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations for places to eat. We had a bit of issue with the room cleanliness.Housekeeping completely skipped our room on day 1, but cleaned it on day 2 after we spoke to the front desk. On our first night, we used the two glasswares provided for our wine. During our stay, the glasses were not replaced with clean glass ware. To reuse them, we had to wash them in the sink ourselves. Also, the floor area below the bathroom sink had not been swept or wiped and there was an old cotton swab and tissue left there from previous guests. Otherwise, the room was comfortable and user friendly. Thanks.
