Came up for one night stay with friends. I’ve stayed at Sideways before, always my first choice. The patio room was perfect. The only thing the rooms need (I’ve commented about this before), is more lighting. The rooms seem dark. Also, their continental breakfast has changed throughout the years (possibly because of the lockdown?). Only donuts were available. The coffee is delicious though. The onsite lounge is nice.

Great experience!

Clean, convenient and reasonably priced. Only a one-night stay but it definitely met our needs. The place is a bit dated, but I worry more about cleanliness, and it was definitely clean. We had a room on the backside of the property and it was quiet even though the hotel is located near the freeway. People were nice. We went to the lounge that night and it seemed to be more locals than guests which was cool because we talked about the area etc. I would definitely stay here again.

Liked detailed map of property when checking in as well as other side detailing info answering questions everybody wants to know about property. Furnishings definitely need to be updated. Mattress excellent. Sofa in our room had lots of small holes all over which looked like a cat had sharpened its claws. It was in pretty bad shape.
