Checked in on a Saturday the weekend and construction was going on couldn’t barely hear the front desk. Was staying with our team and before I even Tried checking in the front desk tried to convince us to cancel our reservation stating they didn’t know how long it was going to be going on. We have always stayed in Crowne plaza in Foster city with good experiences however this stay was not very good. This visit we stayed on the 3rd floor. Our carpet did not look clean it smelled musty the room was very stuffy since windows don’t open even for a little to air out rooms! The room was very noisy with some type of loud sound from air conditioning. Windows should be mandatory to have a bit of air flowing thru & carpets need to be steam cleaned. Our room next to ice machine was very noisy with foot traffic. We needed to check out earlier then normal due to smell causing headaches.
