Booked for 3 days 2 nights ended up leaving early due to being very unhappy with our stay. To start off we booked a suite with a marina view non smoking and when we got into the room the room appeared dusty and smelled like smoke and mold. The rooms mini fridge was also filled with old smelly food from the person prior to our stay. When we called the front desk to request housekeeping to come and freshen up the room the housekeeper came and just dumped out the trash but nothing was wiped down nor sanitized. We personally had to go to target to purchase Clorox wipes and air freshener to make the stay bearable . Upon checking out early and requesting a refund for the second night which we did not stay for …we were denied a refund . I definitely will not be booking with the Hyatt again .

El hotel tiene teóricamente 4 estrellas pero le sobran al menos 2. Instalaciones viejas , sin ningún aislamiento acústico , la piscina parece un bebedero de patos más que una piscina , la caja de seguridad la tuvieron que cambiar estaba rota y la que trajeron también, el parking un atraco a 50$ la noche. Te sientes estafado al salir .

The pool area was nice, my daughter loved the water slides! It is like a wind tunnel in the pool area though, which was really cold! But the pools were heated so that helped. Beautiful views!!

This place was giving Hawaii vibes. My kid loved the pool slide. Nice to watch seaworld fireworks from our room and kayaked at the marina.

The property is old , and needs series renovation I had to check out a day early and switch to another hotel even my booking was non refundable . Don’t recommend this hotel at all. We made a reservation for 2 queen beds and we were given a one king size room , the front desk said that we won’t like that two queen beds room . That being said the hotel is creepy and dark .

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Recent Stay – Room 2219 (7/17–7/20) at Hyatt Regency Mission Bay To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina from July 17 to July 20, 2025, in Room 2219. Given the Hyatt brand’s reputation for high standards and hospitality, I was extremely disappointed with the condition of the accommodations and the inadequate service provided throughout our visit. Upon arrival, the overall condition of the room was noticeably worn down and unkempt. Most concerning was the discovery of garbage left in the sofa bed, indicating that housekeeping had not conducted a thorough cleaning prior to our check-in. Despite reporting that the shower drain was not functioning properly, no one ever came to fix the issue, nor were we offered a different room as a resolution. This lack of follow-through is unacceptable. Additionally, the air conditioning in the room was unreliable, failing to maintain a comfortable temperature—an issue that significantly impacted our comfort, especially with two small children in our group. We were also forced to request towel replacements multiple times, and even then, the replacements were insufficient for our group of five guests.

Great pool with every amenity one could ask for. Room was fine. View was super onto the marina. Restaurant was very overpriced but servers were lovely & gracious.

Tower has paper thin walls. You can hear your neighbors urinating, every toilet flush including the water running trig the pipes after. Pull out bed mattress had some suspicious stains. Noticed only because there were no linens for it. One of the pillows that was brought after we requested smelled like feces. Valet was unorganized and unprofessional. Parked our vehicle under a tree and returned it covered in bird dropping. No apology just excuses. Guest relations reached out only after my direct Hyatt review. Even though I had talked to onsite manager about my vehicle. I can't remember his name, but luggage assistance guy was friendly and informative. Pools and water slides were nice. Sitting area minimal. Get there early. Food and beverage is costly which is expected but still a little higher than usual. 45 bucks for 2 water bottle, 2 kids carton mills, 4 individual cereal breakfast bars.
