We stayed at Days Inn San Diego for 3 days with our family and had a pleasant experience overall. One of the biggest advantages for us was the room with a kitchen option, which made traveling with family much easier. Being able to prepare simple meals and snacks saved time and money. The room was clean, spacious, and functional. While the property is not luxury and feels a bit dated, everything worked well and met our needs for a family stay. Beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had the basic essentials needed for a short trip. The location is convenient, with easy access to major attractions, restaurants, and highways around San Diego. Parking was available and hassle-free, which is important when traveling with kids. Staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in/check-out was smooth. Breakfast options were basic, but having the kitchen made up for it. Overall, Days Inn San Diego is a good budget-friendly option for families, especially if you want a kitchen and plan to spend most of your time exploring the city. We would consider staying again for a short family trip.

Pros - The staff was very friendly. - The location was good. - The room was clean. Cons - Extremely noisy: My room was close to the laundry room, and they were washing sheets all day and part of the night. It was very loud, and you could feel the vibration of the machines at all times. - Poor sound insulation: You can hear everything. I could hear the guests in the room above us as if they were inside my own room. A few times I thought my wife was walking to the bathroom, but she was asleep—the noise was coming from upstairs. - Bathroom door did not close properly. - No breakfast included: For the price, it would be better to stay at a slightly more expensive hotel that includes breakfast—you’ll end up saving overall.
