I was presently surprised at the room I got. Staff was very accommodating and kind. The bed was comfortable firm but not too firm lol Good prices. Quiet except if you’re on the bottom floor. You can hear every roller bag like an echo. But otherwise it was great for a budget hotel!

Careful with their pricing, i was quoted an amount including tax and when i paid at the property, the amounts were higher and they charged me about $100 more aside from charging parking and deposit..don't think I'd stay there again, the manager assured me everything was correct but my bank statement showed more taken out than amount quoted.

Relocating from SE back to San Diego. Start new job in office nearby and walking distance. Hotel best deal in general vicinity and convenient to everything else in Old Town as well. Basic lobby etc but rooms offer mini fridge and microwave. Liked hotel enough to extend stay for another 5nts! Walkable to new office is critical for first couple of weeks.

It was ok.. loud because you’re right off the freeway. The carpet was soaking wet in a spot by the bed, we found a bunch of weird stuff in the room left behind by previous guests which made me suspicious of the cleanliness. The “hot” water was barely warm. It was just bleh. Breakfast is the morning was good so there’s that.

We were not impressed with this hotel and location. It is located right on a freeway entry ramp. The staff can also do a better job in terms of room maintenance (shabby furniture, rugs in disrepair, etc) and they can improve customer service (friendliness of staff).

This was my first time staying at Comfort Inn by downtown San Diego with my family and we absolutely loved it! It was super clean, our beds were beautifully made up and so comfortable! We ordered pizza from Little Italy and they delivered it in the rain! My boys were very happy! In the morning we went downstairs to eat our continental breakfast, and that was an amazing experience because they had and served everything that you can think of! We will definitely be back this summer and every time that we go to San Diego!

The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. The manager, Gabriel, knew we were arriving for my daughter's funeral and went out of his way to make sure we wanted for nothing. Fabulous beds, hot breakfast every morning, it was amazing. I'd go back there in a heartbeat. Short walk to Old Town, it was perfect.
