A decent sized room but the maintenance of the room hasn’t been maintained. The window didn’t close properly which meant the noise from the traffic was extra loud (we were expecting some noise but not that loud). The remote control for the tv didn’t work, the standnext to the bed was missing so couldn’t put anything next to me and despite it being a room for 3 people we only had 2 towels.

A very noisy and basic room. Expected some noise staying at the services but the room was next to the lorry parking area so was very uncomfortable. Window broken and didn’t close properly. Bed and pillows were poor quality. Soap dispenser had not been refilled. You pay for what you get. Wouldn’t recommend unless nothing else available in the area.

Clean room and amazing bed. Room needed a second chair, the TV reception wasnt perfect and 'menu/TV guide' didn't work. The door to the bathroom got stuck on the floor and there was paint on the ceiling light. But the gentleman at reception was very professional and apart from the distant motorway noise it was very quiet.

Breakfast was taken at 'The Good Breakfast'. A complete waste of money. There was NO choice- full English with tea or coffee or literally nothing. The food was dried out & lukewarm. No bread, toast or fried bread unless paid for separately. Guests queue at the shop counter along with passing buyers. The seating area was grubby with dirty dishes strewn around. Disgusting. The twin room, pre-booked was accessible so spacious & clean although the bath panel was shabby. Beds were comfortable enough. Tea & coffee making facilities were fine but little or no useful information in the room. Also it was on the ground floor presumably for ease of access but overlooked the car park so visitors were smoking at tables directly outside & it was too noisy at times to open the window, hence the room became stuffy. A fan was supplied to blow the air around. Some staff were polite & friendly, but not all. The Welcome Break toilets are temporarily sited in the car park making vehicular access in & out awkward.
