The staff was amazing. Especially Georgia, who made sure we had lots for breakfast and lots of coffee to start our day. She had lots of helpful suggestions for our group as we toured around Rome. Very sweet, friendly girl who made our stay memorable.

Very clean. Not a hotel with amenities.

The room was very clean and the staff was very nice. This is an apartment not a hotel - I didn’t realize what we were booking. You are off the main street so at night it was a little loud. 10 minute walk to the Colosseum. 20 minute walk from the train station. Not ideal if you’re with big suitcases. If you’re looking for something clean and nearby, this is a good choice. If you’re looking for a hotel with amenities, this probably isn’t for you. All in all good experience and very clean.

Good location pretty much in the middle between Termini Station and the major attractions such as the Colosseum, Forum, Pantheon and other historical sights and museums. Rooms were good size with large widows that open to the outside. There is a large rooftop patio with nice outdoor seating area and a great breakfast buffet, the host makes you coffee to order. The hotel is kind of a “secret hotel” there is not sign on the street, just the address by a huge beautiful wooden door. The building on the ground floor is dark and musty, the floors a lovely and colorful array of true terrazzo, leading you to the cutest antique elevator. Hotel on 3rd floor. Carpets in halls were dirty. Rooms overall clean but cheap building supplies used and water didn’t get very hot. But overall the staff was super friendly and our stay was great!

This is a nice small no-frills hotel with friendly staff. It is only a few rooms on one floor of a building and there is no hotel sign on the building, which made it a bit tricky to find. Our room was average size for the money, so perfectly fine and adequate. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a good shower. Everything was nice and clean. The breakfast buffet had decent choice but wasn't restocked often enough when we were there. A bonus is the terrace but it doesn't have the best of views.

At first the place looked ok. But then find the shower/bath mouldy and the drain full of hair and other gunge, water would not drain away. Next when we tried to boil the kettle the power tripped out, tried again and tripped again. Went to reception no other rooms available. Were given another kettle but the power still tripped with that. The only thing offered were 2 paper cups of hot water. Not much good if reception is closed when id like more This was for a 1 night stay, very disapointed and would never suggest anyone stay there

Lovely hotel, lovely breakfast and terrace sara served us coffee every morning lovely manner friendly and helpful The most perfect location for all of the historical sights Bad points Hotel does not have its name on, very difficult to locate it when you reach the correct street, Another couple told us they had the same experience as us Reception said we should of had a picture of the hotel door and a code sent Which we and the other couple did not receive, And the directions to the hotel from Rome Termni could be made simpler They sent us all over different streets, when it is only 2 straight forward roads to the hotel, They said they are not allowed to put Salloto Monti anywhere outside Strange,

My wife and I visited Rome in April and stayed at Salotto Monti. The hotel was closer to most of the attractions and walkable. The receptionists and the support staff (Sara, Kiara, Sara and every one of them) were outstanding. They were wonderful, caring and very helpful. We stayed for a week and our experience was great. Special recognition and thanks go to Sara who advised us on great places to visit, see and eat. She took care of our needs every morning during the breakfast. Best hotel to stay and we highly recommend to everyone. We will stay again when we visit Rome next time.

Stayed here twice. Cute spot that is very conveniently located near the Colosseum and near the Monti neighborhood. Stayed in two different rooms both times. Great breakfast and staff. First room was quiet. I experience a bit of noise in the second room (near the breakfast area) because of staff/people walking by
