3rd floor apartment, initially walked past it, don’t expect big hotel entrance. Ring bell on double doors. Lovely stay. Staff were wonderful, very central allows you to walk everywhere. Short walk to tour bus shop, an essential on your 1st visit to get your bearings. Clean, quick to find from station and very convenient at good value.

Mind your head

The entry was easy once I arrived at the property. The receptionist was friendly, welcoming and informative. The building is very beautiful inside and the room had a feel of modernity and antiquity at the same time. There was a free breakfast area where you. Could help yourself to drinks and food. There were some good options but the cornettos had a dusting of sweetener. My only gripe about mynroomnisnthst there was a loft bedroom and the ceiling was only about 5 feet 5 inches high. I’m 6’ tall so I had to stoop in the bed area and yes, I did. And my head on the ceiling twice. I would recommend the Nerva overall. It’s in a good location for the station and the Monti area and very affordable.

Nerva Accomodation is perfectly situated for visiting the central historical districts in Rome. A short walk in one direction will take you to a Metro station, a bit of a longer walk, but still relatively short, will take you to Termini as well as the intersection of two metro lines, all of which are easy to use. The property itself has a rustic charm, providing clean, comfortable rooms, coffee machines on the two floors we were on, and snack items, fresh fruit and yoghurt available anytime you wanted. A slight frustration is the desk staffing, which is from 1000-1800, but is quite workable. The staff was wonderful, pleasant and always helpful. Abundant hot water and water pressure, air conditioning also worked well.Door codes provide entry into the building as well as into the various units on the floors. We felt very safe here..according to Expedia, laundry service is available, but this is not the case, as well as breakfast for 5 Euros,which was not available either, but the goodies, fruits, juices, yoghurts, and coffee available were enough to get you started, and there was cereal as well, no charges for this. We had a delightful time!

Fantastic location within walking distance of so much including the train terminal and metro station. Grand suite is spectacular and embodies the Italian charm to perfection!! This will be our choice for accommodations for our next trip back to Rome.

The room was nice, room 23, but the bathroom wasn’t great, you had to climb into a tub with a high wall to take a shower and the tub was slippery and water got on the floor when you showered. The breakfast was ok and convenient. You could open the windows to the courtyard and it was quiet. The location was excellent, close to the roma termini and lots of great restaurants within walking distance, we also walked to the coliseum

The hotel was close and walkable to most of the tourist destinations. Very clean and nice breakfast options in the morning. Comfy bed. A little noisy at night with air conditioners right by the bedroom window and people up late at night talking.

Nerva Accommodation Cavour was centrally located between all tourist attractions. Good walking shoes are a must in Rome. The staff was wonderful (Alessandro, Barbara, and Gabriel) and met any and all needs and requests. I enjoyed the authenticity of the accommodations and it was nice not to be in a hotel setting. Visit the restaurants on Urbana (Urbana 47, Taverna Urbana and Pasta Urbana). Great food and service. The barking dogs from the window above was better than any dessert. I would highly recommend Nerva Accommodation Cavour to anyone. Thank you Nerva Accommodation Cavour. You made my first time stay in Italy a memorable one. Grazie.

Nerva Accommodation is not exactly a hotel. There is no traditional lobby, and the service staff is very attentive. The interior of our room was somewhat inconvenient. The bathtub is located near the entrance, practically next to the front door, without the privacy that proper bathroom walls would provide. Those who value the intimacy of that space for their personal needs will likely be frustrated by the large window offering a panoramic view of the toilet. It’s extremely uncomfortable. At night, the heating systems facing the central patio make an unbearable noise, even if you close the door to the small balcony. Expedia should be more accurate in its descriptions.

Excellent stay in Rome. Great location not far from train station and 10-20min walk from the main attractions that we wanted to see. Lots of restaurants nearby so excellent choice. The front of desk service was welcoming, friendly & helpful. There was a slight delay in our room being ready for 2pm arrival, but just waited with complimentary biscuits and drinks which is available throughout stay. We’d paid extra for the jacuzzi, which for info involves you standing there for 45-50min as need to hold shower head over it to fill. On one of the days we returned to find a large bag of rubbish left in our room by the cleaners, but we just took it back to reception. Not a big issue at all. We would definitely recommend and look to book this place again.

Had a great time in Rome, but a few things about the Nerva cavour hotel could have made it even better. Toilet seat was broken. Should have complained but didn't. No hooks anywhere to hang towels or anything. Tv didn't work. No shower but a sprayer in the Hot tub . Couldnt fill the hot tub as we couldnt turn sprayer off when running the tap so water everywhere. We put dirty wet towels in bath after use for clean towels,but when we returned all the dirty wet towels had been hung up again in different places without being changed.Did ask for clean ones,no problem and didnt happen again. As for room cleaning, only bed was made, no cleaning occured.No safe in room so had to hide valuables. Staff on reception very nice. Just little things that could have made a difference.

Cannot fault its location bring a short walk from main train station and attractions. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Coffee/tea in reception area so not in room but this area also stocked with biscuits and juices which were in plentiful supply. We had a fault in room which was quickly repaired. All doors are on a keypad and reception manned from 09.00 until 18.00 with no safe in rooms so either having to carry or hide valuables but room we had did not have a toilet roll/holder and supplied a hand held water spray for use. This were perhaps the only two faults in what was an otherwise pleasant stay in this apart hotel in Rome
