Staff were communicative throughout our stay and responded to messages promptly, which we appreciated. However, the issues we raised, such as the broken shower rail and missing bedside light, were never resolved. Maintenance was scheduled for the day before we left, but no one showed up. Overall, while communication was good, it was disappointing that the issues were not fixed during our stay.

Bright and cheery little studio. I appreciated the locked entrance and coded room lock. The kitchenette had everything I needed, the bathroom was large and the bed and linens were comfy. There's a Bonus grocery store right around the corner that was very convenient. Most importantly, as a first timer in Iceland traveling solo I opted to book daily tours instead doing self drive. Almost all of the tours I booked picked up/dropped off right at the corner of the street which was so great for leaving out early mornings and returning well after dark. I would love to return to Iceland and would absolutely book B18 again.

The apartment was great, the major problem was that the outside door code never worked for the whole time i was there. i called a few times and nobody answered. so i felt trapped, otherwise I'd have to wait until someone was in the lobby.

Very nice and clean apartment. Towels and linen provided - kitchen equipped with hot plate, fridge, kettle and coffee maker. Very quiet on our floor - and very little noise from the street. We appreciated easy access to the laundry room. Limited parking in front of the building, so often need to park in the nearby streets.

Great Accommodation In Reykjavik!

We had a delightful stay here, and the host was very responsive & answered whatever questions I had. The apartment itself was very cozy and it had all the necessary amenities. We look forward to staying here again during our future visits to Iceland 😊.

Good decent stay

Decent apartment, walking distance to the usual pick up locations for day trips, but a bit farther from the city centre. Basic amenities available, clean enough apartment, bed is okay for an Asian couple but might be small if you are more heavy set. Kitchen amenities need a refresh as the pot is quite heavily scratched.

Great location for staying in downtown Reykjavik. Easy to find free parking right outside the building. Within walking distance to downtown restaurants and attractions. Quick last-minute booking. Quiet and clean room. Highly recommended.

Very pleasant stay, as someone who traveled solo. the rooms are definitely big enough for 2. Location is close to downtown, reasonable price, and the checkin process was easy. Customer service was helpful too. The room door code wasn’t activated when I arrived but I called customer service and everything was resolved under 5minutes.

I asked if they will be able to accommodate me for an early check-in; they said that it will be depending on the check-out time of the previous guests. On the day of check-in, they messaged me right away once the apartment was ready. I appreciate the immediate response and communication. The apartment was clean, neat, spacious and new. The shower curtain had a smell -- I already told them, hopefully they will address it. The building has an elevator and secure entrance. Overall, I had a comfortable stay and will recommend this place!

Located about 1 km from Hallgrimskirkja, this hotel/apartment is tucked among a bunch of other similar buildings. Not the flashiest neighbourhood, but good for anyone who doesn't want to be in the thick of crowds of tourists. There is a well appointed small kitchen and a grocery store nearby so you can save money by cooking your own meals. During our stay there was a lot of construction in the neighbourhood, but it did not affect our ability to sleep. The bed was comfortable and warm. People with allergies will need to be aware that there are down pillows on the bed, but there are also smaller poly-filled cushions that can be used. We had a bit of trouble initially figuring out how to get into the building and the apartment but finally figured it out after a more careful reading of the instructions.
