We rented this home for three nights to celebrate a 40th birthday, mainly because of the beautiful pool photos in the listing. Unfortunately, the backyard looked very different in person. The pool is completely surrounded by a large black safety fence that is not shown in any of the photos. I understand Queen Creek may require it for safety, especially for children, but the listing should accurately reflect the current setup. The fence dramatically changes the look of the backyard and was a major eyesore in photos during our event. The inside of the home was beautiful and matched the listing photos. The host was responsive, but when I expressed concern about the misleading pool photos, I was simply told to cancel. That wasn’t realistic since we had already arrived and were hosting a birthday gathering with invited guests. There were also many mosquitoes and flies around the pool area, and we had to purchase our own candle to help. Providing citronella candles or bug control would improve the experience. Other things to note: the pool stayed very cold and shaded, there was no pool umbrella, the thermostat could not go below 72, and basic cleanup supplies like a broom and dustpan were unavailable. Overall, this home may be better suited for families with small children who need the pool fence for safety. If you are booking mainly for pool aesthetics or hosting an event, just know the backyard looks very different in person.due to the misleading photos would not stay here again.
