What sets this hotel apart from all the others, are the staff. While many are getting rid of receptions in the city this one is not and it makes such a difference. We were so well looked after. The continental breakfast is also substantial and good quality. You can also upgrade to a cooked breakfast for a reasonable price. Would definitely come back

Enjoyed 2 nights away for our anniversary . Staff were 100% ! Helpful, friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean , comfortable ( could do with decorating ) but that would be our only criticism. When in Brighton we will book this hotel again.

The staff, Lydia and Valentina were excellent. Very friendly welcoming and helpful. The room we stayed in looked over a pub beer garden which was very noisy. Consider asking for a room away from this area.

Perfect overnight stay

Lovely little hotel for an overnight stay in Brighton. It’s in a great location, right near the beach, and very easy to find. Check in process was really quick, and we were given a bottle of cold water and shown up to our room. Continental breakfast was included, and was a perfect amount of food. We were offered toast in addition to pastries, fruit, cereal etc. The beds were super comfy and the room was very clean. A fan was provided in the room which was a great addition, however it was very old and didn’t give off much cold air! The room did slightly smell of damp when we first entered, but didn’t put us off. All in all, a great overnight stay and I would definitely stay again.

I always prefer to book into small businesses or independently run hotels, which is why I booked Blanche House. The service was great, from checking in, sorting out a parking permit, the breakfast & checking out. Clean & comfy rooms with everything me & my partner would need, we both enjoyed our stay & would definitely come here again.

Good location and super friendly staff

Lovely stay, good location and super friendly staff. Car parking is an issue as mostly permit holders unless you want to pay £14 a day. Walked everywhere we needed to once we found a space. Good continental breakfast enhanced by Valentina’s happy service! Room a bit small especially the bathroom and no lift (luckily we were only on the second floor and only had a small overnight case). Individually decorated and tastefully styled rooms.

Peaceful, comfortable and clean

It was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Had a great night's sleep. I didn't have need of parking or a high chair so these questions in the review were irrelevant and there wasn't an N/A option.

I loved this charming guest house by the sea! Every staff there is friendly and helpful. I told them I was there for work and they were very accommodating in making the stay as relaxing as possible, communicating with me throughout the booking process too. I plan to come back for a proper vacation next time. One thing I will do next time is to book a room facing away from the restaurant/bar, which was quite noisy till late.
