We stayed for 4 days in mid January in the Marquese suite. Its a hike up the stairs but the room was very nice. Beds very comfy , the big windows open up to the outside so its like being in the trees. No screens but no bugs either. Staff was very accommodating. The included breakfast was fresh and made to order. The building is secure with locks on all the outside entry points. There is a coffee shop and bodega right next door for snacks and supplies. At first the streets appeared a bit rough but after a day you can get around easily and we never felt unsafe. Lots of restaurant options locally with some right over the bridge. The jazz restaurant has music till ten and after that its pretty quite. There is a city bus stop right at the main corner down the street. We used Uber which was easy to get and reasonable in price. Really no need for a rental car. It was our first trip to PV but we are looking to go again. We met many US and Canadians there on winter holiday. Great food scene and beach is just down the street.
