Overall great stay. Gardens and outdoor spaces were well maintained. Nice view from the beach, though if you don’t like the smell of cigarettes it’s difficult to be on the beach with all the smokers. Rooms were not cleaned very thoroughly during our stay, and only the towels were ever replaced. Food was a hit and miss, some of our group had a hard time finding enough options at the buffet. Some communication issues with our dinner bookings, though they did their best to find a solution. Location was good, easy to bus around or find shuttles. Lots of other Canadians at the resort this time of year!

The property was safe and had lots of friendly acrivities. 15 5o 20 minutes feom the airport. Nightly different restaurant foods experience was fantastic.. Not very wheelchair friendly. Also promised us a wheelchair accessible bathroom, which we did not get until night three. Buffet food bland as can be. The front desk manager, Cristobal however was amazing. He got our issues fixed and made up for the poor hotel management of room booking done by whoever dealt with it. If you need a wheelchair accessible room, be sure to ask for a room similar to 486 when you book. Sharing this so others don’t have a similar issue. Excellent location and things nearby. Trip went well once we got the room we needed. And again, Cristobal specifically was amazing at solving the issues as soon as he could.

Black mold in our first room and moved to another room that had no water for 8 hours and a broken air conditioner. Hotel rooms are EXTREMELY run down and the staff had no concern about fixing anything. Food was the same everyday and not great. No hot tub and you’re only allowed one towel per person. Most of the waiters and bartenders were great and the pool was nice. This was probably the hot spot in the early 80’s, but when you don’t update anything or do any repairs in 40 years it is a complete let down. Be careful of the black mold! It was on the walls, on the curtains, on the mirror and in the shower.

We had a great time at this resort. The kids loved the pool, food was pretty good for an all inclusive, and the tennis courts/gym were great to have to combat the delicious tacos and drinks around PV. Despite having multiple a la carte restaurants on site, we were unable to get a reservation for one due to them all being booked out when we arrived, which was pretty disappointing. Thankfully there are plenty of great dinner options around town, so we were able to just opt for that. Overall, we enjoyed or time and would consider returning to Canto on our next trip down to PV.

Me and my wife were skeptical at first because of some negative reviews . Once we arrived we realized that these people were butt hurt or very picky , the service from the doorman, reception, and all staff were excellent and very helpful, our rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable, I couldn't ask for more. And the food, I was amazed on how delicious the food was, either from the buffet or a restaurant, I definitely over ate.they had plenty of shows and lots of entertainment for all ages .

Staff was amazing. The mexican buffet breakfast(villa side) was amazing, staff members Esther and Fernando were the BEST! Like other reviews food was good, just repetitive. So if you plan on staying for a week or more venture out and try some local food! This resort has a convenient location. Bar staff was amazing. And bring your own cup, this keeps you from going to the bar so much!
