This was my third time staying here. Love the location, close to Malecon. Great size hotel. Staff are superb. Hard working and very friendly, accommodating. The food was delicious at the buffet restaurant and the reservation restaurant. Bar staff and waiters that bring drinks on the beach were awesome! Edgar, Oscar, Gabriel, and Alan ( at the restaurant) were so great and provided excellent service! Saw whales and dolphins from the beach at the hotel! My only dislike was all the French people from Quebec who were rude, loud, obnoxious, demanding and think they are entitled! Such a disgrace to the Canadian reputation ! I hope karma will prevail to those rude people!

We’re vegetarians who are allergic to onion and garlic, so we’re used to having some issues eating at all-inclusives, but never have we had as much trouble as here. Everything was pre-mixed, with lots of onion and garlic, and even the rice and beans (usually our safe foods) were made with meat. We asked if it was possible to get plain food, but the kitchen was unable to. There was a fire during our stay - no fire alarm rang, just staff yelling in the halls. Once we evacuated there was almost no updating or information sharing from staff. Next day we heard from numerous other guests that they hadn’t heard anything and did not evacuate. Thankfully it was a kitchen fire that was quickly contained and no one was injured, but very scary to know we weren’t safe there. We chose to attend the holiday club sales pitch in order to get the upgrade to attend the SkyBar, late check out and taxi to the airport. We were assured there was no pressure, just allowing them 90 minutes to show us the privileged hotel and what the club offers. The tour was fine and initial salesperson was lovely. Then came the hard sell and we ended up having to walk out because the “boss” wouldn’t take no for an answer and really laid on the guilt trip. We wondered if they got commission based on how long they could hold you hostage, not just on sales. The SkyBar was worth it though. Lovely views (including sunset), shade in the afternoon, yummy snacks and comfy seats. Staff were friendly and our room was lovely

The staff were amazing and helpful. The only thing we didn't like was the fact that we couldn't take food with us from the buffet to our room. We had to order room service which cost 150 pesos. This should have been included considering this is an " all inclusive" hotel.

Had a wonderful stay at this resort. Wonderful staff, great service at the pool. Food was decent. The great thing is that this hotel is walking distance from the Malecon, local shops and restaurants. Unfortunately we had to evacuate the building one night due to a kitchen fire. We all got out safe and was let back in that same night. I just wished they had a better fire evacuation procedure because we did not hear any alarms nor a phone call.

Second year at this property great experience both times. This time our flight was delayed by about 5 hours. We spoke with Tania at the front desk and she made sure that we could stay at the property use the amenities (pool, restaurants, drinks) while we waited for our new flight details to be confirmed. Typically there is a 150 peso charge per hour per person however she waived the fee. Great experience and great customer service the entire week.

Resort is a bit small so could not stay here much longer then 3 or 4 days for lack of food choices and things to do. Wasn’t much entertainment and you stay at an all inclusive so you don’t have to leave the resort but we felt we had to leave every single day.
