Canon City itself was great! Hotel made it better. We were there for a wedding and friends just down the road had a bad experience at theirs, while we slept like babies at the Best Western. Staff was awesome. Might just find ourselves back here again.

The air conditioning did not work. Room was hot and stuffy. The AC would only run for a couple of minutes then sit off. Called front desk at 3 am to ask for a fan - they said they didn’t have any for guests. The front desk said “I was told to tell you to turn off the unit for 15 min then turn it back on” and “just open the window, it’s nice out now.” Turn one/off didn’t work. Opening the window for a ground level floor did not seem secure or private. Poor response for a known problem. Worst experience at a Best Western. Wont be staying there again.
