This was a great experience. The hotel is older but you can't tell. The room we stayed in was up to date and decorated very nicely. Much better than the bland hotel rooms we are used to. Breakfast was simple but nutritious and very good. Not a pile of danish like many places are now. And I really enjoyed that there was no tv in the breakfast area. It was nice and peaceful.

Clean room, clean and quiet breakfast area. Comfortable bed, room was a little warm despite being able to control our own AC. Breakfast of pastries, bagels, granola, cereal, bread, oatmeal, yogurt cups. Coffee was good with multiple creamer options. Convenient location to the park and minutes drive to main street.

Quick, easy check in with the owner or manager, and there’s an actual key! Spotless room and bath. And that includes the baseboards and behind the doors, which the chain hotels always seem to miss. Plenty of hot water for showering. Breakfast room was clean and well stocked. Although no hot items, the variety was good. While we didn’t have any interaction with staff other than check in, we saw them out cleaning the sidewalks and parking lot. Highly recommend!

The room is what you would expect from a motel. The coffee for the coffee pot wasn't exceptional. The bag was small for the coffee pot, so the coffee was really weak. The beds were comfortable but wish the pillows were a bit fluffier. Shower was great, just wish the nozzle was moveable. You can do a lot of walking to places around the motel but there were a lot of stores closed for that day, Wed, or permanently closed. There were enough places to drive to if needed though. I would come back here because it's conveniently located to where I want to go... Royal Gorge Bridge and Tunnel Drive

The owner was very friendly & welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. The fridge & microwave were a bonus. The Continental breakfast had great variety. Across the road from the train station for those doing the Royal Gorge train trip - we did. Close to excellent restaurants. Five Star!
