Think Twice Before Staying

After a 14hr drive and late cbeck in our room smelled like smoke, laying in bed we noticed tge smoke detector was covered in plastic told front deak next morning but found tgat we were charged $590 for it had to fight and argue to get it refunded. Light in the shower had exposed wires they fixed it with double sided tape major red flags.

This hotel and the staff are very disappointing. I stayed one night and could immediately see the hotel was not kept up. When I checked in the man at the desk was not friendly, kind or remotely interested in his job. My kids and I dropped our bags off in the room after a long day since they were looking forward to swimming in the indoor pool. There were zero pool towels available and the ceiling looked like it was caving in from all the heat and moisture in the room with visible mold. After swimming we tried using the microwaving but the turn table was broken so I couldn't use it to heat up food. The mattresses were old, stained and didn't have a mattress protectors on them. There was only a small cushion on top but not a waterproof protective cover. It was extremely late so the kids and I tried to sleep though overall the room was very unclean and uncomfortable. I woke up to use the bathroom and stepped into a huge puddle of water, apparently the toilet started running and overflowing in the middle of the night for no reason and flooded the bathroom, the carpet was soaked outside the bathroom. I could see the trim on the door was deteriorated and looked like it had lots of water damage so this likely happened many times before. The toilet wasn't still overflowing so I mopped it up and tried to get back to sleep. When we go I tried flushing the toilet and it overflow and flood again. I told the front desk in the morning and they didn't sound surprised that this had happened.

The only issue we had was the breakfast service was mediocre. Had to ask for bread and my spouse had to ask if there were more eggs and bacon. Ps the other service was very good. The other item is the hairdryer in our room was not working. We had one with us.

Very happy customer

It was a very clean hotel. And the room was nice. The service from start to finish was excellent. I would stay again and recommend thisnhotel. Pool and hot tub were very clean. Had to ask for towels at the pool but it was not a problem. And they gave me enough for each guest.

Breakfast was pretty good but the eating area was small. Our card keys didn't work most of the time. We stayed four nights and it was a bit of a hassle. The cleaning staff was great. The front desk were great too. It was a nice pool area. The beds weren't too bad. It was definitely good for a budget hotel.
