If we could give 0 stars we would. This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The room had NO heating, when we returned from dinner the room was the same temperature as outside. Note: there is snow on the ground. Aka the room was a freezer.
We informed the front desk, and he said, "I will find a wrench if you know how to fix the heater." When that didn't work he said he would send someone to the basement to fix it. In a 1/2 hour we called the desk again and he said he thinks he got the heat working in the room next door... when we explained that wouldn't help us he said he would find space heaters. Next thing we see is him heading to the restaurant next door. In a few minutes high school boys in restaurant uniforms came with the restaurant space heaters that the kid announced he knew the heater worked bc he had just unplugged it from the kitchen. When I remarked that the handwritten sign on the heater said don't turn up above 72 was a bit concerning, he informed me that not to worry, the sign was meant for restaurant staff to not crank the heat in the kitchen. We decided to warm up in the hot tub, only to be told that it didn't work. The shower curtain had a hole in it and the room wasn't very clean. At checkout, we called for assistance with adjusting our bill. The housekeeper came with an attitude. We asked for a discount. She got on the phone with her boss who said to give us 20.00 off of our bill. She removed a 20 from the till and slapped it on the counter.
