Portsmouth accommodation from AU$70

I would describe the stay as travelodge level rooms- fairly basic. Probably a 2-3 star stat. Standard of cleanliness isn’t great- the room had a faint smell of damp or urines. The mugs in the room were also dirty The facilities were surprisingly impressive- a good sized pool and proper gym. We stayed here and spent the first day in Portsmouth and the second day in Chichester. It’s a good and accessible location.

I had a truly lovely stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their friendly approach really made the whole experience feel special and relaxed. The room itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. Everything was clean, fresh, and comfortable, which made it easy to settle in and enjoy the stay. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into keeping the rooms to such a high standard. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The combination of such kind, helpful staff and a clean, comfortable room made my stay thoroughly enjoyable, and I would happily return again.

Absolutely unprofessional and rude behavior of member of staff at reception in the 01 may morning. Will not recommend to deal with this hotel if that is work related stay. A member of staff was inadequate and incompetent. Refusing to provide with a room invoice, where i have paid DIRECTLY to reception on my check in, blindly arguing with people from abroad whos primary language is not English. And in fact being wrong in a situation he created.
