Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely hotel decor. Room was clean, can tell some areas are in need of a bit of updating but it’s not a problem. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced. Would stay again.

Location great. Staff especially Sara on reception were amazing. Forces and Bluelight discount available. Room too hot even with windows open and road noise. Undecorated areas near stairs and lifts. Dogs not allowed, not even assistant dogs.

Enjoyed a pleasant night at The Royal Maritime Hotel. Check in was easy and parking was discounted for staying in the car park across the road. We had a view of the Spinnaker Tower from our second floor room (224) The room was clean and recently decorated. There is a Co-Op across the road which was very handy. We walked to Gun Wharf Keys from the hotel. I would recommend this hotel due to it location and beautiful atmosphere inside the hotel. Thank you for a delightful stay and we will be returning.

The room was originally quite underwhelming. Parts of the hotel are in desperate need of being refurbished. But they moved me to a different room, and I was very happy with it. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was not included, but well worth the cost. There were plenty of warm options, and they were all delicious - a true English breakfast. The location is ideal, just a short walk to the naval museum and Gunnery Quays. The staff was also friendly and accommodating. I would happily stay there again.
