Beautiful hotel for those who love historic buildings, walkable neighborhood close to restaurants/bars & cool Saturday farmers market on the waterfront. Nightly happy hour with free snacks and two free drinks. Helpful and courteous staff

The room was very clean and spacious. I enjoyed breakfast one of the mornings at the hotel and it was actually pretty good. The area around is very walkable and there’s also public transportation available. I will definitely keep this hotel in mind whenever I visit portland, Oregon again.

Convenient location, decent rooms but in need of updating. Our room in particular clearly had water damage in the bathroom that wasnt fully repaired. I assume it was structurally repaired but not aesthetically...the bathroom door and trim were pretty unsightly. The tub needed a good cleaning and recaulking. Used to stay here a fair amount years ago and was disappointed to see it hasn't been well maintained. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Older hotel, creepy people all over lobby and exterior of hotel. Also, they put us in a ADA room where the floor tile in shower is not sloaped correctly. Water everywhere, every shower. Would not allow us to change rooms and a family of 4 for 5 nights. Awful. Happy hour was cool however.

Over all I a good experience, however house Keeping stole my dogs food and water bowls. This was an expensive, matching stainless steel. All travel, set the interlock together with lids to keep the contents from spilling out. You would think staying at one of the most elite hotels in the area wouldn’t have to worry about the hotel staff.
