The Port Lincoln Hotel - Port Lincoln Hotels

The Port Lincoln Hotel

1 Lincoln Highway, Port Lincoln - Map
Loved the atmosphere, food and staff. I filled in the survey to say how great we thought the place was and gave to reception staff. Then I was told there was a surcharge because I was disappointed something I should have been told when we booked in. Very disappointing as I have never been charged a surcharge from any other hotel,I have stayed in.

"Lovely location"
My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The views out over the marina was delightful, and kept us intrigued with watching the comings and goings. Also, watching a thunderstorm out to sea from the balcony was quite impressive.

"It is what it is"
Stayed for three nights. We were there to go cage diving with the sharks so it really wasn't important where we stayed. Theres a bed, TV, coffee/Tea making facilities and a fridge. Basic necessities really. If you want a cuppa though I had to plug the kettle into a power socket close to the floor. First world problem but its not hard to put a power point where the kettle is. Bathroom was pretty ordinary but for $75/night what do you expect. The continental breakfast is pretty bad but again it was $75/night. The food in the pub itself was decent though. No frills but was good enough for our adventure.
