The Crowne Plaza Suites hotel was surprisingly convenient for my stay in Pittsburgh. While located in Bethel Park rather than downtown, it proved to be the perfect staging point for excursions both in Pittsburgh and a day trip to the Laurel Highlands. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Went to register no one at reception desk. Heard someone talking around the corner. Finally after 5 minutes I said Is somebody here? The girl replied about a minute later and said she would be right out. Not very good for a reception area. When checking out I asked for a copy of my bill and they said copy machine was down and they would email me same. We have stayed there before and had much better service. Not at all satisfied. Bed wad terrible too.

This hotel is lovely, clean, quiet, and super well appointed. It has friendly staff and a great breakfast buffet. The bed was really comfortable, and overall the room could not have been better. Also, it's across from South Hill Village which is a nice shopping center, so i spent one evening at Barnes and Noble. This was veyr convenient to my family who live inthe South Hills. Massive parking lot outside. Finally it also has a little shop by the front desk where you can get snacks and necessities. Plan to stay here always fro now on when i visit family.

Got a great corner room on an upper floor. Large, clean , and comfortable. There were two downsides to our stay -1. An ice machine was installed literally right outside our door in the hallway (ice buckets being filled till midnight and coolers starting at 5am) Who installs ice machines in hallways? 2. Who books 4 kids hockey teams into a hotel and then places them on different floors thus disturbing four floors of patrons instead of just giving the teams twenty rooms on one wing of one floor. Kids running the halls and playing hockey in the hallways and one girl at the front desk unable to do anything about the problem because she was alone and the problem was on the top four floors.

Front desk staff was excellent. Housekeeping was poor. They replaced a few towels and that was it . They didn't clean the bathroom. They didn't make the bed. When we came back to the room we thought they never cleaned and then we saw 2 clean towels. Not good

The room was a bit dated, but clean. The staff were very pleasant both at the front desk and the gentleman from the dining room. This is the first hotel since covid that gave you clean towels and emptied the trash everyday. That was a nice surprise!
