The staff were very friendly and welcoming upon arrival and I was able to check in slightly earlier than the standard 3pm time. The room was on the second floor, which was accessible by a small staircase or the lift (which was further down the hall). The room was incredibly spacious with a balcony, table and two chairs. It also had a small clothes line attached to the outside wall, which was handy for drying clothes. The bathroom, while tired and needing a bit of an upgrade, was large with a huge, deep bath and double-sized shower. Towels were replaced daily. The room had two comfortable beds and a number of pillow options to choose from.
The roof top pool is what makes the hotel. With brilliant views over the main beach in Patong, plenty of lounge chairs and a swim up pool bar, it was a great place to relax and enjoy a sunset.
The breakfast was basic but plentiful. The egg station was a highlight.
Overall, the hotel was a great, affordable option that's close proximity to shopping, food markets, the beach, and of course Bangla Rd. It was a fantastic place to stay as a solo traveller, with other like-minded people staying at the same time. The travel and tour desk was great and knowledgeable, and you couldn't fault the staff - they truly made the hotel a special place.
