Exceptional Stay at Marriott Merlin Beach Phuket Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Marriott Merlin Beach Phuket! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. Their warmth and attentiveness made us feel right at home. We were particularly touched by the thoughtful touches for families — our children loved the extra gowns, slippers, bath bombs, and kids’ activity bags provided specially for them. It’s those small, genuine gestures that make such a big difference. The food selection was excellent, offering a wide range of delicious options. We did encounter a small hiccup when a halal-labelled item was initially cooked on the same surface as pork, but the way the team handled it truly stood out. Rather than dismissing the concern, they took it seriously, addressed it immediately, and ensured all future dishes were prepared separately. They were problem-solving focused, sincerely apologetic, and even offered thoughtful little extras to make up for the oversight — a gesture we deeply appreciated. We also loved the amazing Halloween celebrations, which were full of creativity, festive energy, and wonderful themed treats — a highlight for both kids and adults! The resort’s coral beach is absolutely beautiful, especially for those who enjoy snorkeling or exploring marine life. While it’s not ideal for swimming due to the coral, it’s still a lovely and unique feature that adds to the resort’s charm.

Beach Grill, beach bar and Kanpai services were awesome. All-inclusive deal is definitely worth it. One thing that can be improved is the quality of shampoo and conditioner!

I was very, very upset by the fact that I paid for "ALL INCLUSIVE " and the hotel charges additional costs for room service and breakfast. The Marriott at Merlin Beach is one of the most expensive resorts in Phuket and there is no need for these additional charges. I will never stay at a Marriott property again nor will I recommend Marriott to any of my family or friends. Thank you for this opportunity to make you aware of my feelings about my stay.
