The resort check in time was 4 pm. We arrived at 5:25 pm. The line to check in had over 20 people with only two representatives from the resort to manage check in on a Saturday evening. When we finally had our turn to check in, we were told by the representative that our reservation was cancelled at 5:43 pm, which happened to be while we were patiently waiting our turn to check in. The representative claimed that a credit card issue was why we were cancelled and they would not reinstate our reservation. The representative claimed she was unable to do anything and even speaking with management behind the scenes proved nothing. When asked for the manager on duty to be the one to discuss the situation, we were finally able to have our reservation reinstated. Fortunately, the room was clean and not run down. The restaurant wait staff were slow for service and the food mediocre in taste. We requested a small grace period in check out but were turned down. One would think that since we waited so long for check in, that even 1/2 hour would have been possible. This hotel was overall quite a disappointment.

Check in took over an hour. Please add more agents to cut down horrible line. I get it, Saturday with a big show, but plan ahead! We had no hot water in the shower, ran it for 20 minutes & barely luke warm water!

This place is terrible. Rooms are not what they show in the pictures. Most of the staff just stares at you like you are doing something wrong, very unfriendly and not welcoming. Blackjack tables are minimum 20 dollars a hand and you have to spend ten dollars for a beer. No free drinks. This place is a complete joke. Stay away. I will never return and tell everyone i know to stay away.

Room was absolutely fabulous. Very comfortable bed. The bathroom is giant with a full bathtub and huge shower. Very clean and absolutely lovely. The views out the full size windows were incredible!

Fantastic view from the Scenic Deluxe King with Mountain View. Expedia VIP got upgraded to a fabulous top floor corner room with walkout balcony! I'm not much of a casino person, but this was a low-key vibe and totally non-smoking floor made it much more pleasant.

The rooms are luxurious, beautiful and clean. The food at Tash and the Cantina was excellent. Service was slow in the cafe. It took 30 minutes to get drinks the first visit, and we waited a long time for lunch the next day. I would not return to that restaurant. Overall though we had a wonderful experience. The pool and the gals working it were amazing and the messages at the spa were great too.

Education and Training

Hotel was nice, and had a good selection of things to do. Came to see Ron White and the show was great. Our only downside came at about midnight, when some neighbors started singing very loud and making quite a ruckus. Usually this is something that i can forgive if its just a short isolated incident. But they kept it up for over an hour.. Then came someone from hotel staff to tell them that they were being kicked out for having a questionable service dog, and they weren't able to produce proof that the dog was actually a certified service animal. Details of their argument are sketchy at best. This argument was had in the hallway and went on for another 30 minutes, before falling silent. I think the staff should have just told them to produce proof or leave. Give them say ten minutes to produce proof or get out, and say that if they don't comply, then they will be evicted promptly. Instead they chose to fall into an argument and not know the best way to shut it down. I am sure that we weren't the only ones on the floor that lost sleep due to this. Some training for the staff in negotiating tactics may go a long way.

Very clean, wonderful staff. Went above and beyond to take care of us.. except NO upgrade. Said they were fully booked. True as we saw MULTIPLE conventions / groups on our stay. some as many as 4 or 5 on one weekend.

The property is nice. The room was fantastic. If you like to gamble, this is a nice place to stay. I suggest going offsite for restaurant food. If you want to grab a pizza while gambling, the food offering at the cafe will get you through, but otherwise I was not impressed with the restaurants. Our bill came out higher than expected due to BS "resort fees". Orbitz may have disclosed that and I missed it - I don't know - but it was unexpected. I realized that I am not a fan of gambling, especially now that the lowest hand of blackjack is $15, so I would choose somewhere else next tme.
