It was great. Staff lovely. Beach amazing. Paddle boards, kayaks, boogie boards etc for activities. Only things that keep me from a 5* are the following : the view from our room was on a bunch of AC units. Beautiful room but couldn’t eat outside because so noisy (and ugly). Beautiful room - kitchen FULLY equipped. If you are planning on sleeping on the pull out couch - it is very uncomfortable. The food and drinks at the restaurant is so -so. The view is beautiful but would expect food to be better. Didn’t really want to eat there much. Pool and hot tub are great. Was expecting more amenities in the change rooms.

Beachfront retreat

We had a beautiful room with huge windows overlooking the ocean and the boardwalk. Check in person was very welcoming and informative. Loved our stay and would love to return.

Wand fell off the curtains so couldn’t open or close the large ones, plugs and switches worked intermittently, air conditioning stopped working completely until the engineer could come and get it going again, elevator out of service on last day so had to haul up and down six floors (with luggage for check out). Restaurant was really, really slow and the food was mediocre (except the charcuterie board which was fantastic). This morning we waited 25 minutes to only get a coffee and at the one hour point, when no food had arrived, we left. Should have known better, yesterday the breakfast was inedible. Yesterday and today we tried to speak to the restaurant manager - no go either day. Front desk staff were amazing and incredibly polite and pleasant but again no hotel manager available to speak with. Such a shame - nice room in a great location but we won’t be back.

It’s a little loud. Kids were playing tag football in front of our room for 2 hours. Nobody from the hotel did anything. Door to rooms are on the exterior so traffic noise is a bit loud.

We will be back

We stayed only one night but quickly realized it was not long enough. The staff are amazing. All are so kind and helpful. The amenities are abundant and the restaurant is spectacular. Our room was comfortable and clean. We definitely will return again with an extended stay.
