It seems like the hotel is in the process of modernizing itself. Some areas have been updated while other areas still need some upgrades. Overall, a very nice place to stay with the family. The breakfast buffet is very professionally run and well stocked with new items through our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a favorite for Lancaster County.

Only good thing was the breakfast staff and the breakfast. The room was not good. Upon arrival there was a piece of dental floss on the bathroom sink. A quarter roll of toilet paper and an empty Kleenex container with know more Kleenex to refill. We got cleaner from the desk because there were know other rooms available. Wall paper is peeling off the walls, ceilings had dust all over them and the room was very musty. By morning my daughter with allergies was glad we were leaving

Very disappointed! Our room had not been properly cleaned. Cheerios and chips left under table and near the bedside table on the floor, it appeared the room had not been vacuumed. We had no Kleenex or any extra toilet paper just the half roll that was on the roll. We had ants in our room and we found a shoe beside our bed, which we turned into the front desk. The pool was not cleaned. We have visited PA every year for the past 4 years and decided to stay somewhere different this year. We won’t be staying at this property again. The breakfast was great and the staff was friendly! They did provide us with ant spray, Kleenex and toilet paper for our room and did come up and vacuum the room. We were told that they were full so we couldn’t be changed to a different room.

Excellent except for the pools.

We were on a road trip that wasn't going very well (with one mishap after another). We begged for early check-in and the staff did everything they could to accommodate us. When we got there we were greeted by Stephanie, who was very friendly, helpful, and informative. We LOVED everything except the pools. The indoor pool was FREEZING & the outdoor pool could have been a bit cleaner. We were told the indoor pool was heated and it was colder than the ocean in New England in January!

All in all my day was very nice comfortable I didn’t have a pretty disturbing problem when it came to me going to bed apparently, I don’t believe my sheets were changed because someone wet the bed and it reeked of urine, but it was also very wet when I got in the bed, so I didn’t even dry because when the bed was made it had lots of heavy blankets just laying across the wetness and also when I went to call to speak with someone at the front desk for some form of help I didn’t realize that my phone was broken in the room as well. I just had knee surgery and I had to go down the hallway get on the elevator and go all the way downstairs to speak with someone But the manager who helped me out was absolutely wonderful. He was wonderful. He changed our room immediately and he also explained and told me how very sorry he was about both the bed and the telephone. He didn’t waste any time and for that I was greatly appreciative and thankful and I would absolutely stay there again because everyone makes mistakes in the mistakes that were made there. I do not believe it was the Manager’s fault. when I notified him, he got on it immediately.

When I asked for toilet paper, since there were no extra rolls in the room, the staff only provided me one roll. This seems skimpy, as this did not provide an extra roll to have on hand in addition to the one that would be on the holder. Additionally, the room had no tissues. This is highly unusual, as every hotel I have stayed provided tissues as a standard. The complimentary breakfast was nice; however, the menu was unchanged for each day of my stay - making it routine rather than something to look forward too. Overall, the property was clean, safe, and quiet. I rate it three stars out of five.

We travel to Lancaster every year and stay here for the following reasons: Love the location and 2 pools Very clean in all areas- rooms, breakfast area, pools, etc I observe the staff and they seem to be working hard, especially those providing the breakfast service and housekeeping services. Everyone is respectfully friendly.
