I absolutely loved Grove resort. I’m going to start off what I didn’t like. 2 things… Please be aware that Expedia does NOT take the deposit amount out of your account. Do not arrive at the resort looking forward to paying a remainder you will be paying the entire total at the resort. It is not displayed that way online or very clear at all but that is what happened to me and others. The second thing I did not appreciate about the hotel was that my room electricity went out twice during my 4 night stay. It was resolved very quickly but it was not being convenient to experience that. Outside of those 2 issues the resort itself is absolutely beautiful, clean and welcoming . The staff were all so very helpful and accommodating. The greenery and scenery were beautiful. The food was good and well seasoned. The drinks were not watered down. All 3 pool areas were amazing. There was even a grill chef by the pool making food outside of the restaurant . There was outdoor store with snacks. The pictures online do no justice for how great this place is. I will definitely be returning.

Be prepared to pay a bunch of additional fees at check-in. On top of the thousands of dollars I had already spent on the room booking, I had to shell out an additional $500 at check in for parking and resort fees. Not sure what these fees entail, but I will tell you what they don’t include: a room cleaning. It is incredible to me that this “nice resort “doesn’t even include a daily housekeeping service. Heck, even the cheapest motel gets you clean towels and makes your bed in the morning. We stayed for a week and not even that qualified us for any sort of cleaning. You want extra towels? That’s a fee, you want your trash taken from your room? That’s a fee, do you want someone to make your bed? that’s a fee. What kind of place is this? If I wanted to clean my own room and take my trash out, I would’ve stayed at home. I’ve never stayed anywhere that does not do complementary housekeeping. We are in the Florida heat all day, the one thing you want when you get to your hotel at night is a nice shower with a clean towel, and they don’t even offer that, unless you’re willing to pay extra. Room cleanings are over $100, it’s ridiculous. Would not recommend this place to anyone unless you’re wanting to spend hundreds of extra dollars for services that should be included in your already pricey room rate

Enjoyed the stay. Was confusion with reservation. When corrected not sure how it worked out with financing. Will know when I see charges on my bill. Fees not fully disclosed. Took a couple times to get help with reservations but last young man was great.
