Great place for families with young kids. Had a few issues with a tv not working and our dryer did not work. We self parked and our rental car was broken into and gas was syphoned. Terrible food and service at the Valencia. Medium Rare steak was well done and service was very, very slow. Other guests we spoke to all had the same experience. It wasn’t bad, but it was disappointing for the amount you pay.

I loved that they texted to check in on us, and everything was responded to. We didn’t have any shower gel in our suite, I told them late on Friday night and by Saturday morning at 7am, it was on our door. The pool areas do need to be cleaned a bit more (bc people would leave trash)…. As do the public poolside bathrooms. I’d also like it if they had more umbrellas, it is crazy that they charge so much and then limit how many umbrellas are available to those not paying for a cabana or “premium” seating.

Close proximity to the major parks was what first drew us there. Coupled with the ability to have a kitchenette and access to the water park. Everything on site is extremely expensive. So the kitchenette is a must and buy your groceries and drinks off site. After paying your initial payment, you then also have to pay for daily parking, daily resort fee and any room cleaning is extra. Roughly $75 a day w/o cleaning. The pools are not well staffed, so as the day goes on, garbage starts popping up in the pools. Especially on weekends, when there is a discount for locals and the family resort, becomes much less so. Finally, the pool at the terrace is much less busy, but much colder than the pools at The Springs. All in all, fair to good, not great.

Stayed 8 nights - family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids) PROS: Great location if you want to stay outside the Disney Resort area. 20mins to get to any of the Disney Parks. Driving into the resort was beautiful and put in you vacation mode right away. The surrounding neighborhoods were new, clean, safe and quiet. We stayed in a 3-bedroom, 3 bath condo. More than enough space for our family of 5. Equipped with full kitchen, stove, fridge, Keurig, pots and pans, dishes, glasses, cutlery, laundry facilities, towels for waterpark. Parking was located on same floor as our condo, so we didn't have to wait and battle the elevator which was great. Resort had 3 basic pools and a waterpark. Everything was in walking distance. Pathways were wide and clean. Easy to get around. They have a market on site - super expensive but convenient for last minute snacks, souvenirs or grocery items. Within a 10minute drive, you can access dozens of restaurants, Target, Walmart, pharmacies etc. Plenty of places to each & shop (vehicle required). CONS: Don't expect housekeeping. We were told various things and after 8 nights no one ever showed up to clear out our garbage or change out our towels. Extra laundry soap, garbage bags, a broom or small vacuum in the guest room would be great to help keep it clean. Especially with kids. A garbage chute on each level (like what exists in regular condos) would be great so everyone can throw out their own garbage. That's my only complaint.

Beautiful resort. The facility was clean and welcoming. However, when it was time to turn in for the night and I pulled off the comforter to the bed I found food crumbs. This was very disturbing and I did not appreciate seeing food on the bed. I spoke to the night manager and housekeeping came and changed the lienes. The facility at times smelled like marijuana inside and outside on the pool. We also would have like to fish off using the pattle boats but that was not the case and lastly, the flow riser should be free as I paid for the water park fee and the flow rider should not have a schedule time. The flow rider she be included with the water park.

This was the 5th time staying at the Grove and sadly it has gotten worse every year. The pools were dirty this year. Getting toilet paper and towels was hard since staff didn’t speak English. The hotel is very convenient to disney parks. And it has been overall great but it seems as if this year they were not ready for the spring travelers.

It was a decent location and the pools were nice. The 3 bedroom suite that we rented was dated and there was an odor inside the suite as well as in the hallway. We also had some issues with the patio door and the dishwasher.
