A prime example of not always getting what you pay for. My wife and I stayed here for two nights during our mini honey moon and suffice it to say...not impressed. Don't get me wrong, the staff are amazing, the location is picturesque, but after that it goes down hill quick. The age is showing in the rooms. Water pressure in the in the shower? Nah, who needs that? For the price tag you get zero bells and whistles when it comes to amenities. Stay elsewhere, save your expectations and your cash.

We enjoyed the private deck, the easy access and private to the beach. Golf, spa, bike trails, and more was also available on the property. We shopped in their shopping center, as well. Very relaxing, which was what we enjoyed the most.

I absolutely love Salashan and will definitely be coming back! The location is stunningly beautiful, the staff was lovely, and it was exactly what I was looking for. The only downside was how surprisingly noisy the traffic was from just a single lane in each direction. Next time I’ll request a room that’s further from the road in the hopes that it will be more quiet. Everything else was perfection.

This was our first time visiting this hotel. We decided to take a trip with our 17-year-old pup from the Texas coast to the PNW coast since we don't think he will last another year. It was our last little adventure. They were really accommodating to us, and the beach was so close! Even more, you could just walk all the little trails and feel like you are in a Jurassic Park movie. Truly a pup-friendly place.

This was our first time staying here. The property is beautiful, and the breakfast was fantastic. However, a few things will keep us away in the future. 1) We definitely didn't get that 'resort' feel, and in all fairness it is called a lodge but we were tricked, your website sells something much more luxurious. 2) No air conditioning, we kept the door open with the fan blowing all night but had no relief, also the fireplace would have been utilized if it had been colder, but was never turned on and still did significantly heat the room and lit the entire room up at night. 3) water pressure was non existent. Very depressing showers, and not very hot water. That alone would not entice me to visit again. 4) Besides that, great for people with dogs who want something more rustic. Not luxurious enough for what we were looking for. 5) The private beach that we got to go to was extremely awesome!!

Arrived a couple hours after check in and was welcomed promptly. Services and amenities were decent for the price. I would only mention that they should clean more thoroughly, especially all flat surfaces and under the bed. Thanks for having us!
