Dirty room, ok pool

Overall the hotel was fine, but was not very clean. We came into our room and found that the sheets were dirty and stained with makeup stains and crusty spots. The light switches and phone were filthy. The bathtub did not drain well. One elevator was out of order, inconvenient but nothing big. The pool was the highlight for the kids but the shallow entry was slippery and dangerous. We slipped and fell. Overall our 3 night stay was fine, but we probably will not return.

Liked the pool, everything else was okay.

Our kids had an absolute blast at the hotel water features, especially with the pool and slides—they really loved them! The breakfast was decent, offering a satisfactory start to our mornings. However, there were a couple of significant drawbacks. The hotel lobby had a very strong perfume scent which might be an issue if you're sensitive to smells. We also noticed the floors were quite sticky in both the breakfast area and our hotel room, which was a bit off-putting. Ultimately, these issues led us to cut our trip short by a day to find a more comfortable hotel closer to home. We were okay with eating the cost of the unused night.

Would not stay again. Place is old and dirty. Every single towel we had for the 3 days was stained, all of our bedding was stained, some of it even looked like it wasn’t washed. Outlets in the hallway looked like a fire hazard. Couldn’t find an ice machine on any of the floors. You could see where the space for them had been but the machines were gone. Took all the strength I had to turn on the faucet in the bathtub. There was no housekeeping while we were there so everyone had to throw their towels and garbage into the hallways and wait for staff to replace. The pool area was extremely slippery, our kids fell a few times and I saw other kids falling a lot too. Homeless people camped out by the hotel everyday. I called to the front desk at 6:30pm to get more towels one night since ours had not been replaced and they informed me that I would have to carry them down to the desk if I wanted new ones. On the second day we were there our room keys quit working and maintenance had to break into room with a screw driver and then replace the batteries in the door. Apparently the week before we were there the elevator had also quit working for a couple days.

Mixed Feelings

So I don't leave reviews often but this one gave me so many mixed feelings that I think I should. I mainly booked this hotel because the reviews were good, the pool looked good for the kids, and the price was right. However, upon arrival I had to wait to get checked in because of a line of people which was fine I didn't mind waiting but the elevator was right there in the lobby and ALOT of people were waiting for it. It was stuck on the 4th floor the whole time I was in line. Never moved once. People kept coming to the front desk lady to complain while she was trying to get everyone checked in. Once checked in I went outside to get my family and things came back in the elevator still hadn't moved. I felt for the families that had kids cause they said they were on the 7th floor. Come to find out the elevator on the other end of the hotel was also out of order so the stairs were the only option at that point. We were on the 2nd floor which was nice we didn't have to climb to the top. Once in the room , It was pretty clean, the AC was cold, and you could tell it had been updated. no issues with the room. the next morning breakfast was decent, nothing fancy. When it comes to the pool, the kids loved it, However as a parent I saw a few things that were pretty concerning, mainly safety things. there were no drains on the outside of the pool on the floor so every time someone got out water was just everywhere. several kids slipped. Would I stay here again? maybe if I was in the area

Everything was good except for a couple of things. The shower rod in the bathroom was missing some screws so it wasn’t hanging right so the shower curtain couldn’t block the water and created a mess in the bathroom. The pool area is extremely dangerous—the floor is so very slippery. I’m surprised no one hasn’t seriously been hurt. Saw several kids fall and hit their heads and they were just walking. I almost fell a few times. Please fix before a serious injury occurs.

There were a lot of homeless people. It took forever to get checked in. The pack and play for my 2 year old was very dirty. The bed was amazing and they had great pillows.

The staff was nice enough, but on the second day, my friend who was staying with me had her room key card randomly deactivated, and we had to get her a new one. The elevator broke and we had to hike 6 flights of stairs to our room. The air conditioner in our room made a sound as if it were hailing outside the whole time, and there was a shelf above or toilet that was barely hanging on that was concerning to sit beneath.

Front desk workers were rude. Elevator stopped working a few times during our stay. Witnessed another customer complain because they gave her the keys to a room that was already occupied which is so dangerous and the front desk agent had the nerve to tell her if she didn’t like it she could leave. How about NO do your job right. That is such a safety issue for the person already in the room not to mention the other lady.
