What a FANTASTIC alternative to staying inside the walls! Literally a 500 meter (8 mins) walk to the Rödertor Gate entrance of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Wonder staff, very clean, spacious rooms, and off-street parking included. The included breakfast offering is fantastic! We even witnessed the staff prepare a special breakfast table setting for someone celebrating a birthday! With pleasure I recommend Hotel Merian Rothenburg!

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was fine but was the same every day. Our room was clean but very dated. Furniture was old and worn. There was no fridge in the room but the staff put my things in their fridge which was helpful. Our balcony overlooked a mechanics workshop, not somewhere I would want to sit.

Lovely Hotel

Lovely hotel just outside of the old town (easy 10 min walk). The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The room was nice with comfy beds, and excellent breakfast with lots of choices. Free parking in front of the hotel.
