Friendly staff. Really nice big room although older. Being older the lighting in it was horrible okay when we left the drapes open but once it got dark hard to see and felt a little dismal. The pool and hot tub were very good and the breakfast was excellent. Location was perfect right by a lot of things ( attractions restaurants stores)

We left the room cleaner than we found it. If it had not been late, we would not have stayed. I had a new container of Clorox clean up to take care of urine and hairs on the toilet. We did not attempt to clean the ring around the toilet and mold growth. Disgusting. However, the staff we dealt with was nice and courteous. We did not complain of the room conditions to them.

The Inn is very dated and dark. Rooms are extremely dark even with all the lights on and patio door curtains pulled back. Vinyl flooring is peeling from water damage and the tub didn’t drain properly. It’s a 2 star at best. Staff were friendly and efficient. Main lobby is beautiful but that does not carry over into the rest of the hotel.

Location was perfect for what we needed. Check in was easy. Staff were all very pleasant. Breakfast was surprisingly good for the buffet being included and staff continued to pick up and wipe things down each time people went through line. Our room was clean, plenty of towels. My only complaint is how dark our room was. There were only 3 lights in the main area that provided light equivalent to nightlights. Really just way too dark. Overall still satisfied and aside from that 1 opportunity would stay here again

I was very disappointed with our stay at Green Granite Inn. When we checked in, one of the front-desk people was talking on the phone to someone about not being able to help him with a refund. And she was not very nice about it. This should have been my 1st clue! The room was dark & very dated. There were 2 lamps by the bed that were 25 watts (tops) & a floor lamp that was missing a light bulb & the other bulb was not working. The bathroom lights were also very dim. Felt like we were staying in a cave. After checking out we noticed that there was an addition charge for $54. When I got home & called, found out they had charged us a pet fee! When checking in, I was asked if we had a pet with us & I replied we did not. The one bright spot was that the complimentary breakfast was very good. Otherwise, it was a bad experience!

The front desk staff was not very friendly, although the breakfast and overall service were good. The room appeared not to have been properly checked before our arrival — the toilet had flushing issues, the toilet paper holder was missing, and the TV cabinet was unstable. The room itself was clean, but there were quite a few ladybugs inside.

We have been going to this hotel for years- Emily at the front desk was a delight, so friendly and helpful! Our room was not well cleaned, we found several items on the floor including peanuts, as well as trash in the trash can under the bag.

Stayed here during a road trip around New England and this was our most disappointing hotel. Arrived around lunch time and asked if it was possible to get early access (all other hotels were able to accommodate) and was refused even although the hotel appeared to be no where near capacity. No offer for us to leave our bags just told to come back at 3.00. Room was spacious and bed was comfy but room was not clean. Carpets were filthy, furniture was dusty, bathroom was grubby and remote for tv did not work. Hotel really needs an upgrade. Breakfast was adequate.

Staff was courteous and helpful except for one member who was rude and had no desire to help us connect to the hotel’s internet. Issue was simply, our room was too far from transmitter to connect. Needs additional infrastructure to service all rooms.

The Property is something out of the 1950's. The check-in lady was very nice; however, she was there by herself. The 1st room we were assigned had no TV and there was 2 Latino gentleman cooking in the room. How did I know? They left the door open. Living out of plastic garbage bags and cleaning the pot they just cooked in. They were loud. When we came back from dinner, we requested another room, which we were granted. This place might have been something years ago; it needs to be sold to someone who would put some money into it.

The room was very uninviting sparsely furnished. Not enough plugs bathroom floor all broken up, tripping hazard. Tiny television. Lampshades are all broken inside. I took pictures and people thought they were unbelievable for the price they asked.

General disappointment.

The property is in need of maintenance. Doors are beat up, lamps in need of repair, fan in bathroom not working, spiders, floor maintenance in room. General shabby appearance. I was disappointed for what we paid.
