Best Inn in the Mount Washington area .

Hands downs the best inn in the Mount Washington Valley area . we stayed here about a year ago and since then they’ve done a major renovation and upgraded all of the rooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and also booked dinner, sat out on the beautiful patio overlooking the expansive field and beautiful view of the White mountains. Very quiet, relaxing and special time we had. This will be my go to place from now on and a short walk down to the Jackson Village where you can find other bars and restaurants, but to be honest, you don’t need to leave this beautiful resort. Big shout out to the staff, including Montana Amy, Nancy, and the rest of the team. Thank you very much for making our stay very special.

The most amazing property with the most wonderful inn keeper and employees. We were made to few special and the place is absolutely incredible. We’re from England and we normally say we will never return to the same place but this lodge we said ‘never say never’ because it was beautiful!

We loved our stay! From the staff to the delicious breakfast, to the quiet comfortable rooms, we can’t wait to return soon. Easy access to Pinkham and Crawford notches and all the hiking trails meant we could hike all day and enjoy an amazing dinner each night.

It’s a treat to stay at Thorn Hill. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive. The property is gorgeous. The food is exceptional. If you are looking for a relaxing weekend or trip this is the place . I am looking forward to my next visit .

Lovely property, location and facilities were great. Very disappointed with the room lighting. No over bed lighting, just small lamps on the end table that weren’t adequate. We had a lovely room but the air conditioning was inadequate during our late June stay.

Wow, where do I start; from day 1 my husband and I were very impressed by the quality, comfort of the hotel. The staff is great and very friendly. We met lovely people and felt at home. Will recommend.

Overall our stay was lovely. The staff was professional and very helpful. We especially liked the amazing b'fasts which were included with our stay. The only disappointing part was the dinner. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and after the amazing, delicious b'fasts we'd had, I was expecting an equally amazing dinner. So, I ordered the $62 fillet and my wife had the stuffed haddock. Her dinner was very good, but my fillet was pure gristle, which I was unable to cut with a sharp knife. I asked for another steak and said if the chef doesn't think he can prepare a high quality fillet, then to get me the duck instead. I wound up with the duck.

Tranquility at its best nestled in the woods. Breakfast was amazing, and so is the hamburger for dinner!
