This is a beautiful property with a great view of the White mountains from the expansive porch. We appreciated the opportunity of sitting on that porch in rocking chairs covered by the provided warm blankets so we could enjoy that view. The service at the bar and in the restaurant was friendly and professional and all of our meals were delicious.

Just needs a better backing track

This hotel is blessed with professional, cheerful, helpful staff who do all they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. It's also a lovely building in a beautiful setting. Personally I found the constant background music in the public rooms an irritant. Everything from Bowie to Beethoven in the same soporific style and tempo. The place deserves better.
