The room was spacious and beds were comfy- the room seemed more updated for the age of the property. The bathroom was inconveniently small and needs a lot of updating- it seemed dirty given the age, even though it was probably thoroughly cleaned. Breakfast was just okay- one in our party got sick so we didn’t eat it after the first two days. The staff was friendly, but we did have to request items since they don’t clean the rooms daily. There is not much at all to do in the area, and I wouldn’t consider it a safe walkable place. My biggest issue was the marijuana smell that seems to linger in the elevator- I switched to climbing stairs to avoid it! Not the worst place I’ve stayed, but can certainly use improvements.

Did not have a working tv the whole time I was there. Maintenance looked at it twice and was unable to figure it out. Key card stopped working and was unable to get a new one until later that day. The carpet in the room itself is loose and when you walk on it, it moves. When I brought up the carpet a staff member said ya we know, we are gonna work on that next month. When I brought up the tv they said well we got these new tvs recently so that is why. Overall worst hotel stay I have had in a long time and I have stayed in a lot of hotels being active duty military. No mention of any sort of compensation from staff, just excuses

I have stayed at the Best Western Plus 4 or 5 times before; I will not stay there again. First, no hot water for the first two days. No offer of a discount or credit. The clerk attempted to gaslight me ("did you leave the water running a long time?") when she knew there was a problem with the hot water. Eventually, they "upgraded" us to another room. Well, it was an upgrade in that it had hot water but it was a downgrade from a suite. There was no adjustment in the rate for a room 1/2 the size that didn't have two beds in two different rooms (there was a sofa bed that was quite uncomfortable). Combine that with people yelling until 3 in the morning the first two nights, the breakfast removed the pancake machine and full-sized waffle irons. It's just not a place I'll stay at again.
