The people were nice. They were not staffed to be sold out. They didn’t change the sheets or clean the rooms they just emptied the garbage, tucked the sheets and replaced towels. This is an old hotel that they charge a premium for but it’s not renovated

The stay was just okay. The front desk staff was nice but gave in correct information about parking. They do charge hotel guests for parking! Which is unfortunate because no place in Hampton charges for parking. The hotel needs a refresh. The fire safe doors at the elevator held open with the a nail. Two lights in our room were flickering or hanging out of their sockets. The beds were comfortable and it was clean.

Vent in the shower stall was extremely dirty and dusty. Water leaked through the floor to ceiling windows during the rain. Panels above the bathroom sink looked like they could cave in. The fire alarm kept going off. We had to evacuate. Outside the building, it was cold. and wet with flood warnings My mom is 77 years old, and we were on two different floors. They couldn't place us on the same floor, so I had to run down from my floor to help my mom out of her hotel room. Before all the firearms, the elevators take way too long. I will not be staying here again. I booked for 2 nights and couldn't check in until 4:00pm, and I left before my second night.

On our first night the toilet was stopped up, there was water leaking from behind the bathroom mirror, and a very apparent water leak causing the paint to weep down another wall. All three elevators broke down on a Saturday. We had to trek up and down 6 floors.

The customer service. Staff bar was great Wasn’t a fan of the 2 fire alarms having the exit outside but I get safety reasons. Also the elevators not working properly and having to wait 8-10 min to get up and down stairs was ridiculous

The stay was nice. Just minor things need to be addressed like the vents in bathroom very dusty. The bathroom sliding doors not properly assembled. I still enjoyed my stay, bedding was comfortable. Staff very nice upon check in. Breakfast was delicious.

We did not enjoy our room at all. The AC unit was extremely, extremely loud to the point of waking us up out of our sleep each time it started up. Our last night we slept at a higher than comfortable temperature to keep the unit from kicking up so often so we wouldn’t wake up several times during the night. The mattress cover had large, dark stains and so did the lounge chair. The view, while very nice, was distracted by the massive amount of bird poop on the window. The water pressure in the shower was very low and almost useless. The shower floor was disgusting with visible dirt caked and stained into the shower floor. We had to put a towel down so to not touch the floor with our bare feet. Paint was chipping off all the walls, including in the elevator and there was a large drip stain on the door to adjoining room. The shower door did not properly close. The gap between the entry door and the floor was so wide it let the light from the hallway into the room so at night the room was never completely dark unless we laid a towel on the floor. All in all we felt very uncomfortable in our room and will not stay again until proper maintenance and upkeep are done and will not recommend the hotel to anyone either.
