I have been staying at this location for a very very long time. The Norfolk airport shuttle is so convenient. The staff, many whom also have been here awhile also, always remember me and are so kind and helpful!

Hotel property was in fairly good shape. Bed was comfortable. Unfortunately the HVAC unit was very noisy and you could hear planes taking off and landing (I guess Tao be expected…near airport). What was sort of ridiculous was that they charged a $5.00 parking fee! Absolutely no reason to, property is not near other properties and there is plenty of parking.

Overall hotel was good for what I needed. Near airport, clean and convenient. However fitness center 3 out of 4 treadmills were broken and the bathroom in the room was the worst renovation job I’ve seen they basically replaced the counter with a marble one and caulked the. Rap out of everything. They must have used 10 tubes of caulking in the small bathroom.

Not the best experience this time around!
We have stayed here a dozen times for the location to the airport, great bar and food and comfy beds. This was the first time we had a not great experience. We had 3 rooms and the level of cleanliness was not what it used to be...we found an old chicken bone under one of the beds and the bathroom floors were not mopped clean. And now they require you to pay for parking while there is a GIANT lot to park in...not sure what that is about. I hope our next experience here in February is better than this one!
