3-Bedroom (plus Queen size pullout couch), 1 full bath, central AC, Outdoor Shower. One bedroom ON FIRST FLOOR and two upstairs. Beach accessories, kayaks and bikes provided free to guests.

Please note that this is my fourth short rental property on VRBO. I started with my first one in 2015 in Mystic. I have average ratings on all three of 5 “Exceptional. " This property is my favorite! Recently renovated beach house short walk to Giants Neck Heights private beach and Rocky Neck State Beach next door. Central AC, Guest Kayaks, Guest Bicycles, Outdoor Shower. Enjoy beautiful sunsets over Long Island Sound in one of the best beach areas in Connecticut. Outdoor deck and full backyard with patio available for guest use. Cool off with central AC on hot days or use the outdoor shower after a day at the beach. Some of the amenities:

IN CASE YOU HAVEN'T BEEN TO NIANTIC BEFORE - Niantic is a seaside village located in the town of East Lyme. It is an active family orientated community with locally owned bars, restaurants, ice cream shops, movie cinema, kid's museum, retail shops and yes...BEACHES...lots of them. There are two town beaches (Hole in the wall and McCook), one state beach (Rock Neck State Park) and numerous of private neighborhood beaches (Crescent, Black Point, Oak Grove, Davis, etc. Then there is arguable the nicest waterfront walkways in CT. The Niantic Bay Boardwalk is 1.1 miles (1.6 km) long with dozens of built in benches along the way. It is reserved for walkers and runners only.

NON WATERFRONT ACTIVITIES: 10 minutes away is a large Stop & Shop grocery store, COSTCO, large drug store and a movie theater. Casinos, Mystic Village, Seaport and Aquarium are 20 minutes away. Historic Old Lyme with its museums and Art Schools are the next town over. Just 15 minutes away is Old Saybrook with historic Fenwick and The Kate Theater. Going in the other direction, 15 minutes away is New London with its historic waterfront, the Garde Arts Theater and ferries to Long Island, Fishers Island and Block Island.

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house in Niantic over Laboe Day weekend . The house was clean spacious and decorated in a nice beachy theme throughout . Many household amenities provided and plenty of items for the beach and kids to play with in the yard .Check-in was simple. Rob answered any questions quickly and thoroughly. He provided a fantastic guide book with suggestions for restaurants and activities Having the beach pass to park in the association lot was perfect. And the private beach was awesome Niantic is a lovely area. Walking along Main St and the boardwalk in the evening with the kids was such a nice way to wind down after a day at the beach (especially with an ice cream !)Overall a perfect stay …maybe the only suggestion would be to enclose the outside shower !!Will definitely return and recommend to anyone looking for a coastal getaway

Beautiful property, better than I expected. Very clean upon arrival. Had plenty of kitchen and pantry essentials Plenty of room for the 6 of us, would actually sleep 8 people. Extra bonus we were able to bring our dog. Shed had bikes and helmets for kids to use, we brought their scooters which they were able to ride around the community. Beautiful private beach and definitely a short walk. We all enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back. Thanks to our great host Rob!

Great Vacation Experience

The home was clean and comfortable (great A/C) and the location was great for our needs, within walking distance to a private association beach and close to other family attractions. It also included a beach parking pass that allowed us to drop off family with chairs, etc at the beach's edge and then park only a few hundred feet away. The beds were very comfortable with a first floor bedroom perfect for a grandparent. There are three bedrooms in total that can sleep six plus a sofa bed in the living room. The yard was wonderful for the children to play frisbee, fly their toy planes, and play cornhole. The nearby association playground provided gym equipment and tennis courts. Check in and check out were easy. The host was incredibly responsive, personable and helpful throughout our stay. He provided beach chairs, adult bikes, beach umbrella, cooler, kayaks---all the supplies on site for a fun vacation. We definitely want to return.

Rob was a great host. He sent detailed information about the property ahead of our stay and was easy to reach with any question we had during our stay. This is a great property, with lots of activities nearby (beach and boat launch) and on-site (bikes, yard games, a grill). Also, the village of Niantic is a ten-minute drive and has a lot of cute shops, a theater, and good restaurants. The wifi was steady and reliable. Best of all, the property is dog friendly, and our pup loved being able to hang out in the yard in the morning. My one complaint is that there is no dishwasher, and not because we had to wash dishes by hand afterwards. It’s because we had to wash most dishes/glasses before we used them; whoever used them before us did not wash them well. My sense is that there have been other guests who just rushed to wash them to satisfy the requirement of not leaving a dirty kitchen.

Wonderful Accomodations in Quaint Neighborhood With Beach

Thoughtfully appointed and acessorized. Nothing overlooked. Nice quiet beach was a short walk away. We had 4 adults and were very comfortable and would look to stay here again if the need arises.

The house was more than I expected! It was larger than it seemed in the pictures. Rob was great, very responsive and friendly. There was so much stuff in the shed for the beach! We had friends visit a couple of the days and we had more than enough chairs and wagons. We hope to make this our new yearly vacation.

Return trip

This was our second time staying here. We stayed last year and had just as good a time as before. The house is so comfortable and clean. Has everything one could need so didn’t have to pack as much. Enjoyed the kayaks and having a fire. Another great perk about this house is its central location to SO MUCH! The neighborhood is so quiet and nice. The host has great communication and makes everything easy! Can’t wait to come back again!

A Lovely Getaway Spot

This house was perfect for my husband, our young daughter, and our dog for a long weekend. There were plenty of kitchen supplies, linens, space, etc. for us. The neighborhood was peaceful and very walkable with easy access to the private beach and neighboring Rocky Neck State Park. Rob, the owner, was friendly and communicative throughout the process and when we were there. We only wish that we could have stayed longer.

So Cute, So CLEAN!

Great stay!

The house was perfect … fully equipped with everything we needed. Very comfortable, great neighborhood. Short walk to a great beach. Rob was an amazing host! He checked in on us a few days into our stay to make sure we were all set. Communication from beginning to end was wonderful. Rob emailed and left a copy of recommendations for activities, meals, etc. We were thrilled with the restaurants we tried based on that. Overall a wonderful week. Would definitely come back!

Sweet summer getaway!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this super clean beach house! Excellent location! We loved the beach and kayaking so close by. Perfect Beach-house experience

My family and I loved the stay at the beach house.There was everything there that we needed.The host was excellent .He had listed activities ,restaurants,grocery store and many more. We did not have to bring extra things because everything was there including kayaks ,beech chairs , cooler,etc. We grilled and and made someores. This was a very special time for our family to be together and have fun. We appreciate the host Rob very much for providing the perfect week at the beech experience. Thank you!!!
