My accommodation was located in a ‘cottage’ next to the main building. The room was tired and in need of maintenance and refurbishment. The bathroom was in a poor state with a lot of mildew around the bath and above the shower. Otherwise, the room was quite comfortable apart from an annoying heater that constantly clicked. The staff were very pleasant both on arrival/checking in and also later in the restaurant. When booking, I hadn’t realised that it was a Chef & Brewer so don’t expect a reasonable level of cuisine. Breakfast was better than dinner with a good selection on offer. With a tight time constraint, service could just have been a little quicker.

Lovely room, very clean, very comfy huge bed! Toasty and warm thankfully as it was cold outside. Staff were very friendly. Already booked to come back in December. Very happy

Dog friendly and cosy establishment

After a hick-up with a flooded bathroom, we were given another room. Both room were nice and comfortable with easy access to the outdoors, so very dog friendly. The breakfasts are excellent and varied. We also had a. Lunch and a family meal which were very tasty. The meals were taken in a cosy dog friendly part of the establishment which definitely added to the enjoyment

We stayed here whilst visiting Beamish. It was relatively convenient for Beamish, quiet and comfortable. In particular, the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Generally a very good option

We will certainly return. Such welcoming, friendly, helpful staff. Warm, comfortable room, no problems parking. Lovely continental or cooked breakfast option. Perfect country pub location to visit Beamish. Definitely worth another visit!

We have stayed at Ravensworth Arms before and have been highly satisfied on both occasions. The room we were given this time was very good, and we enjoyed our evening meal. We had the continental breakfast which was a little lacking in that there was no apple juice and no fruit on offer as advertised. But on the whole we really enjoyed our stay and would choose to stay there again.
