Bad drain smell in room. They did come up and clean a bit and removed something nefarious from behind the toilet but still smelled a bit odd. A lot of noise disturbance from banging door by my room and from the street outside. Shame the restaurant below was closed as all restaurants nearby looked really sketchy. Breakfast cooked nicely

Lovely northern welcome and free parking

We arrived late but easily found the hotel and their free parking and reception was open and welcoming. Room 1 was bit hard to find: upstairs then down some stairs but it was a nicely decorated family room with a decent sized bathroom. Worked great for us. Breakfast was served quickly with a nice chat.

A fabulous, friendly and comfortable hotel.

A fabulous third stay at this lovely hotel. As always, a fabulous breakfast is served, with various choices available. My room was very comfortable and homely, with an ensuite bath/shower room. This hotel is situated in a lovely area, with excellent transport links into town and the surrounding areas.

Recently stayed at The Osborne Hotel and found everything excellent. The rooms were clean and well equipped, the breakfast choices were suitable for everyone and very well cooked. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend staying if you are in Newcastle.

Nice stay for a great price. No frills or high end finishes but everything was clean, comfortable and in good working order. The breakfast was nice and the staff very friendly. We didn’t have a car so it was nice that it was walking distance to town center and close to public transport. (We stayed in July and the room did not have a fan, but we kept forgetting to ask for if they could provide one so we can’t complain.)

Excellent place to stay.

Returned here after a really nice experience previously. Service was great. The room was brilliant, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely although 8.30am is the latest they do on a weekday. One minor thing was my room was right by the extractor vent for the restaurant so this created noise from 6.30am. It wouldnt put me off staying again. Great hotel and I fully recommend it.

This is a small hotel, feels family run and we came for our son's graduation from Newcastle University. He was living in Jesmond so this hotel was a perfect location. The staff made this stay, they were absolutely outstanding. They gave us early check in and were so kind and helpful to my mother in law, who has mobility issues. Absolutely outstanding breakfast too, included in the price. Well done Osborne hotel!
