Elevators were very slow. One broke down with the fire department having to assist. I had to take the stairs to the 7th floor…being 6 months pregnant this was slightly inconvenient. Also charged for taking or using a pair of slides but never took them from the closet or out of the bag.

Rooms electric floor to ceiling window blinds were broken, wouldn’t stop spinning and going up and down for like an hour. Had to have a guy with ladder come in and try to fix them for a half hour. Not his fault, guy was nice. Bathtub hadn’t been cleaned, had human body hair all over the bottom of it. Asked if there was anything they could do to make the deal a bit sweeter given the fact we were dealing with maintenance issues for the first 90 min of being in our room and as the room was like 1200$. Guy at desk when checking out said nothing he could do but offer drink tickets. To the bar that was closed. Not worth the money, definitely long in the tooth and kinda run down. Was definitely nice when it opened. Not so much anymore. Clearly there are reasons why this one is much cheaper and more available than the neighboring hotels.

Great location. The ferry is only a couple blocks away which made it convenient to get around. The breakfast was great, especially the babka French toast and the room was nice. The only thing the rooftop wasn’t open on Monday when we were there. The door man was helpful with our bags while we waited for our room to be ready. The minibar will satisfy ALL of your needs. The staff was friendly.
