Staff responses very helpful and nice. Room was very clean. A little scary for me that there were no staff (am old woman) but very interesting and cost effective. There were a few loud noises outside both nights, late. I don’t believe they were other lodgers, more like trains or large trucks. If I were younger i would definitely recommend it mire heartily!

Iris Motel

I actually liked the Iris Motel more than I thought. It was comfortable and clean. I was unsure about not having someone at the front desk but it didnt make a difference. The only thing I didn't like was how close it was to the road. There was a pothole that every dump truck hit. It was pretty loud and woke me up a few times. Other than that it was great! The Common Ground restaurant was fantastic!

Brief stay in Nashville at the Iris

Very clean, easy to access, and affordable. Guests walking on 2nd level were pretty loud so thinking the experience would be better up there compared to 1st floor. Pillows were lumpy and could use an upgrade. Otherwise, I had everything I needed for my short stay.

The access code upon arrival did not work. Checkout reminders even before check-in are in poor taste. No better or worse than an average room anywhere. Sticky floor, broken shower, but clean room, convenient location.

I love this business model! You stay without having to see or interact with anyone. The room had several thoughtful touches. With more small touches, this would be a great place to stay! There’s nothing wrong with it as is, for just a quick overnight, but I probably wouldn’t return. More specifically, the tv is too small, the bed is adequate but nothing more, the internet (and cell service) are terrible.

I liked that we didn’t have to check in at a desk. Everything went smoothly, no problems getting into our room. Our room was fine, very basic, and interestingly renovated using inexpensive materials and decor. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it’s decent. My only complaint was the shower curtain rod was not secured properly so the curtain kind of fell open a bit allowing water to splash out. Also, I showered before bed and had forgotten to pack socks or slippers. By the time I got into bed the bottoms of my feet were dirty.

We had a water leak in our room when we arrived. We contacted the staff and they put us in a different room quickly! They were so accommodating and supportive! I will definitely stay there again!
