Beautiful spot

We loved this place! Gorgeous facility! The spa area was top notch A few notes though Room was small, prices are a bit steep especially for the massages. The hot tubs are seperate for men and women and close at 7pm The staff is incredibly nice!

I would give it an score of an 8. I choose this property and it's amenities as I was seeking rest & relaxation. It definitely provided that! There was a snafu in the room when I arrived.The TV wasn't working. I called the front desk and they sent somone within 5 minutes. After trying for a bit with no sucess they called the engineer. He couldn't get the TV to connect to the cable, so he got a TV from an empty room turned It on and problem solved. Had a working TV in about 20 minutes. The Spa offerings were great and most of the staff were welcoming, friendly, and had some helpful suggestions of things to do. I had a scalp massage from Ty and manicure and pedicure from Lex upon my arrival. They did a great job helping me to start relaxing and feel comfortable. I took the day on Sat.to explore the surrounding towns. On Sun. I had a morning massage and a enjoyable lunch on the terrace. Service was exceptional! After lunch, I went into the small indoor pool. It needs some wor. I relaxed outside to dry off in the sunny area. Pool is better suited for exercising and floating as it was only 4ft deep and not very wide. Late afternoon I recieved hydrating mask facial from Shelly. It and she was amazing! For dinner I chose to eat at the Kensington inside the hotel. Service was great! Had the scollop dish which was cooked well, but tasted salty and not sweet like I am used to sea scollops tasting. I did walk the grounds, but things were looking tired and messy. I would return.

The cleanliness of the room was definitely a perk. The food and drinks were delicious. Overall peaceful resort. Staff were friendly and informative. There was one little hiccup but it got sorted out. I appreciate the follow up from management. We look forward to returning in the future!

Convenient to Mohegan Sun, where we had tickets for events on consecutive nights. I was not previously a spa person. But after exploring the premises furing our stay, I would like to return, next time taking more advantage of the offerings there.
