the hotel is conveniently located right off the highway. There is a diner right next door with great food and service. Walking into the hotel, it gives appearance of modernity. Unfortunately that’s where it ends . Rooms were clean. the pool area has several safety conditions : broken chairs that you fall into when you sit and they’re plastic so it’s sharp. Open holes on the deck where the humidifiers drip into without covers at least 6” in diameter. hallways are poorly lit

Served our purpose

The bed was very comfortable and it was fine for our one night stay. The location is very convenient to Old Mystik Village and a few restaurants. The property is a bit dated, but served our purpose just fine. The gym was very small with only one treadmill, one bike, and one elliptical, and it was uncomfortably hot.

Outdate property. 1st floor room slider door opened to dumpsters. AC unit not working properly. Couldnt get a blanket the first night. Light was broken. Just needs updating but staff is pleasant and location is great.

Hotel a-1 restaurant next door, bad taste without eating, say us in the back and forget about us 1960’s all over again, stay away from this place and Wydam needs to cut ties from this hell hole

I was promised early check in but when I arrived I was kept waiting an hour. In the morning I went out early. When I returned my key didn’t work. There was no staff at the front desk until 11:30. Simply outrageous.

Spend a little more and stay at a nicer hotel.

Very poorly maintained room. The door key cards didn't work when we came back from dinner. Even after the lady in the lobby recoded them, only one worked. Apparently, they didnt understand that i paid the room in advance, tried to run my card for that along with incidentals, which caused a glitch and they had somehow lost our file by the time I came back about the key cards. The bathroom door was hard to open and close, and didnt lock. You cant turn off the light outside the sliding door, which is about a million lumens, so its still bright in the room with the lights off and curtain drawn. All the outlets are so worn out, all of our chargers kept slipping out. The room had a funky smell, like mildew thats been treated but isnt quite gone. The air conditioner sounds like a prop plane engine getting up to speed. The only real positives are that the mini fridge was clean, the pool area was in decent shape, and that it was close to attractions.

Traveled from Philadelphia for a friends wedding and the hotel was just a 8 minute drive from the wedding venue. Hotel check-in easy & fast. For an Inn it wasn’t as bad as I thought. Rooms were cleaned so as hotel areas. Needs a bit of updating but for my first time in Connecticut and needed a room at the last minute it was okay.

Go somewhere else.

The ac didn't work and maintenance never came despite calling the front desk mulriple times. After 3 1/2 hours the front desk offer to move us to a new room, but it was seven thirty at night.We were totally unpacked, and I was with a six year old who was tired so we didn't move. The room was very dingy. Thing good about the llace was the front deak lady who helped us fix the tv that also wasn't working. She she also showed me the texts she swnt to maintenance so it wasn't her fault. Even the pool needed to be cleaned.
