The maintenance of this property needs some attention regarding the rooms. Everything outside is fine. However, in the rooms, the carpet is very old, and you can smell it. They need a thorough shampoo and steam. I also think housekeeping should be more detailed, we found a dried cranberry at the corner of the bed and we didn't eat any while we stayed, and some stains on the towels and bedsheets. The filter in the a/c/heater also smelled like it's past time to replace it. I booked 2 double beds, room was very spacious, but there is only 1 nightstand for a room that can fit 4 adults, so it limits space for charging electronics close to the bed. The bathtub drained slowly, so the water gathered up while bathing, and the toilet paper is very poor quality. I won't complain about the breakfast as its continental, but please understand, waffles, bagels, yogurt, bread, I think I saw some type of muffin. No protein. (which again not a complaint just letting the ppl know) The staff are helpful, and friendly, I had trouble getting into my room, and whoever checked me in came right up and helped me open the door. The Shuttle to Foxwoods is convenient and on time for both pick up and drop off, the driver is also friendly. I spent 2 nights here, and I would not come back due to the carpets, just too hard to breathe. That the the sole reason for the 2 stars.
