Breakfast was across the street and down the road and the hot tub was at another hotel cause their hot tub was broken for the last year. If I knew the hot tub and breakfast was somewhere else i wouldnt have come here. The hallways smelled like pot. They never supplied toilet paper or new towels on our 8 night stay and the elevator was broken in the garage. Dont seem like anything worked at that hotel.

I was a bit disappointed in our room. The floor was quite dirty, the air conditioner wasn't very cold even though we kept it at no lower than 72, and the unit actually fell off the wall.

unsupervised children. stained outdoor lounge chairs. the scent of pot was evident every day. the room floors are filthy. don’t go barefoot they will be black. hot tub is closed. the breakfast was typical free breakfast. the employees were nice and the beach view was excellent.

I don't typically write reviews but today is diff

Excellent stay. Overall, the resort was quiet and we only saw other guests when we were on the elevators. There are many perks to include free breakfast buffet for each guest (4 of us), a free ticket to a few attractions, and discounts to others. The staff was extremely accommadating and knowledgable. I did find a few long strands of hair (2) in the hallway bathroom but it wasn't a deal breaker. The room was phenomenal and the weather was great. I have already told our family the Carolinian is officially our family vacation resort whenever we go to Myrtle from here on out. Everyone was in agreement.

Its bad enough you have to park so far away from the hotel, but when we went to park there was no parking spaces open. Its hard to turn an SUV around in a parking deck. Once able to get a spot my husband who had just had surgery was unable to use the elevator to go down from the fourth floor but the elevator wasnt working and no one at the front desk said anything about that at check in

Overall you get what you pay for . The room was average but clean. 10th floor location with a great view. The hallway outside of our room reeked of weed smoke. The pool area was small and hot tub looked dirty. The free breakfast was decent the parking garage is a block away.

Hot tub out of order for entire stay. Construction hammering and drilling noise started 8:15am. Parking situation too far away to be conscionable. Lovely beach access. Free breakfast was akin to school cafeteria in a dark cafe across the street. If I could imagine it would be this I’d have cancelled before arrival. :/
