"Legend Hotel April/May 2015"
We had a lovely 2 night stay at the Legend Hotel at the end of April/start of May. Firstly, it's in a lovely area of Paris. The staff were very accommodating of our inability to speak French! (Most staff spoke English). The room was well made up & the bed was made for us while we were out. The buffet breakfast (we paid extra for) was well worth the 16€ - absolutely amazing food - a lot to choose from. They even kept our luggage safe after check-out while we explored the city. I recommend the Legend Hotel for a stay in Paris!

"Great little Parisian hotel"
Located in the happening Montparnass area of Paris, this quaint little hotel is a great choice for a short stay with a partner. I stayed with my partner for two nights and it was very pleasent. Our room was small yet comfortable, but this is typical of Paris. Everything was spotless and we were never interrupted by housekeeping. The hotel stafd were excellent! They were happy to speak English and were even kind enough to helpe top up my French PAYG SIM voucher over the phone as I don't speak French. There is a neat little honesty bar where you help yourself and just write down what you had, though we didn't get a chance to check it out. They also do breakfast in the lounge and although we didn't have any, it looked pretty awesome. The hotel is a short walk from local shops and lots of cafes and brasseries, and only a 30 minute walk to the Eifel Tower. I would definitely recommend the Lenox Montparnass to anybody, and will stay there again when next in Paris!

Pullman Paris Montparnasse - Paris Hotels

Pullman Paris Montparnasse

19 Rue Commandant Rene Mouchotte, Paris - Map
For a start, we should have requested an early checkin as we waited for almost 5 hours before a room could be given to us at 2pm. The crowd waiting was huge and it would have been nice if some form of complimentary refreshment was available. Don't be looking for drawers to unpack things into, the only shelves were cramped due to the bedside table. Do not move anything in the bar fridge as the shelves are sensored so make sure you inform staff upon checking out if you have not consumed any of the contents or you will be charged. Hotel shuttle was charging $65 to go to Gare du Norde when we paid $17 for a passing taxi. This was at 7am though. Check the prices of the hop on hop off tour buses..2 day pass better value for this excellent service. NOTE: The Louvre closed on Tuesdays.
